Seriously, after years playing with the original model, why did you feel the need to change it?! There are thousands of better ways to improve this mod; not making pointless changes to old helmets which people have been content with for years. Some of us actually put more thought into aesthetics than stats (it's all part of the fun) and unfortunately the new pigface klappvisier clips horribly because of the new coif and the metals no longer match... and for what???
Revert to the old pigface please, the old model fit much better.
Or better yet, let us have both! Everyone's happy.

Yes please i cant look at him anymore without thinking " wtf is on his head"

They really need a hotfix to address the helmet clipping and models being all messed up!
-
Im glad it aint only me always being fucked off by shit clipping and aesthetics.

This is about inconsistent texture use. On our long journey to improve cRPG, we will hopefully reach the point where every item is more or less compatible with everything else (apart from color obvious differences). Give us some time :D
For now, we focus on overcoming certain bottlenecks which prevent us from making the current contents appear complete, such as floating helmets and missing item shop pictures.
Looking at the mod from behind the scenes (or at least the minor part I have access to), some nasty bureaucracy becomes apparent, which may seem unexpected from the outside, but actually makes a lot of sense once you learn how things work. The more abstract things become, the more expertise is needed to solve problems. This inevitably leads to a lot of workload on a few individuals, while others either spend weeks and months to become experts themselves, or just work on tasks other than the current bottleneck (which again leads to more bottlenecking, but at least we get stuff done over the long run). We will get there eventually :)
And to all the haters out there:
1) If you can do it better than us, do it faster than us, and we will upload your stuff instead of ours. The item team does not claim to be particularly great, so feel challenged to work with us or outperform us. Just ask before you start, so you don't end up making something which is already finished, just not yet uploaded.
2) Quit the mod if you are tired of it, just don't terrorize those who enjoy it.

Wat?
But this is such a pointless alteration! Why are you guys fixing stuff that isn't broken?? The original model was fine! No one was asking for a new one. This "improvement" to the game achieves nothing except trample all over my original look which I've used for years.
You guys should only be allowed to add things.
Don't change things.
Don't subtract things.
Just add.

Klappvisier and Pigface Klappvisier, now look much better. Only they need to be a little darker -also for Onion Top Bascinet
-
Why not just add the new version but keep the old one too.
Result= everyone happy

this. pigface was one of the nicest helmets in gaim, qq

I wore the pigface from AoW to the end of Teutonic, but nostalgia aside I think the new texture looks great.

I cannot ignore those atrocious floating coifs. There are a very few armors out there that perfectly accommodate that coif but most armors just look like shit with it since it floats off the character model by at least a few inches.
Just give us both options!
The original pigface that actually fits most armors.
and the new "improved" pigface with the coif that barely fits any armors.

I just want my Klappvisier to not look like a pointy dick  oldest part of my gear :(
