Nowadays is it possible to give us the old maps back or the old mod back i really miss it since the old days it was best thing besides rageball :(

QG[Y]es!
DEPLOY LADDERS!!

Best thing you can hope for is that Fips never touches DTV again except for adding the great old reworked maps that Spanky_Ham/Hellsing does.
And besides, with current bots it would be too easy to find some easy defensible spot, camp it with good team and grind rewards. An NPC to protect increases the difficulty, it's already very easy with a good team :)
They could bring Vivi back thou, defending her was somewhat more enjoyable than this wise cunt we have now
-
Or Vivi was simply a whore

One thing I will never forget about DTVillage is sitting inside a hut with a shield getting x5 for countless rounds :D
I much prefer open maps with not so many choke points.
-
I remember playing DTVillage, there were members of CamelScreamers clan, who were forming a shieldwall to farm high multiplier. Luckily I found a spot to swing the bots before one of their members did. But no, he came kicked me away from the spot and typed: "noobs stay back". That made me really furious and I raised my axe, my intention was to teamkill him. I failed, his friends got me before I could finish him. I cursed their names.

Admin saying he was going to teamkill someone on purpose is like police officer who tells about his bank robbery failure.
Seeing time as a linear continuity and avoiding anachronisms is the key. If i had the power back then, I wouldn't have had to try something so brutal.
E.Anyway, I was too bad to achieve my goal and they ended up being the murderers (for self-defense). I wonder what year it was, 2011 probably. Which leads us to question: are you sure it was that great a game mode? High chances for just nostalgia bonus.

Nostalgia is a big Part true But It is mostly about the maps

I can't agree more. The new maps would make sense with 15 player cap, but, with full server, which is always nowadays, these maps lead to inevitable leeching and lots of boredom.
With a couple of exceptions, they all consist of two or three chokepoints and some players always are left behind without being able to do anything. In my opinion, they encourage leeching, because, either you don't play it, or you are forced to leech every now and then.
The old maps were completely open - they were battle maps afterall - and every team member had the chance to play properly, and it was a lot of fun.
