I remember seeing that first video back when it was first uploaded. I was both impressed and dreaded. Damn thing looked too real and grotesque.
Now I saw that final video you attached. God fucking damn, the über-realistic shit spooked the hell out of me until I finally realized mid-video that it was a spoof.

The first time I ever watched that video I was high or drunk or something and tried to look up the actual Big Dog video. Accidentally watched the spoof and didn't know it was fake. Freaked me the fuck out. 8-)

I mean I find it extremely cool that these guys have actually come to a point where they can build sci-fi level robots, but I would probably shit myself if I saw anything like the spoof version walking towards me on the street :mrgreen:
