Title: What's wrong with cRPG right now?

They made an interesting move and released a patch that brought many players back into the game, the largest server populations we had seen for a couple years, then they did nothing to capitalize on this success. There were many flaws in the new system that could have been easily fixed, but it never happened. Here's some pictures to illustrate my point.

I haven't played for a few months, so maybe I missed an update from the devs, but seriously? Why has there not been a patch since October?

Well its deceptive to look at the numbers like that without looking at the increased damage everyone does. The net damage people received increased a huge amount, even if you take heavy armour. Regardless of that though people just don't have much incentive to play. The player skill curve decreased (spammy no brain gameplay) and people lost incentive to level up because you can make a lvl 35 STF (higher level than retirement) and you get free respecs every 7 days.

There needs to be a balance between long terms goals and reduced grind and atm there is no incentive to grind for guys that like that. Should be a +4 item level perhaps without any real benefit over +3, just a new goal for people

Level 35 is the required level for retirement... The STF just takes you to that level, not above it. And yeah theres a shit load more spammy agi builds these days but its not that hard to beat them since usually you can one shot them.

Lacks a picture of a high k/d to prove its usefullness. Putting a bunch pictures of fancy armors and weapons doesnt say much to me.

I'm also going to try to add some unique rewards if the devs let me. Battle- extra xp+gold based on score+level for a round (lower level = higher rewards), Siege: Winning  = +2 multiplier, better dtv rewards, and extra rewards for winning on a x5 and getting valour on a x5.

Gravoth, congratulations man, you are officially crpg's biggest fanboy. i dont even post criticism's anymore, no matter how true or obvious they are. its beyond pointless.

'shit for gameplay' isnt the same as 'min-maxed optimum best'.

OP drives home one thing that makes cRPG bad to play atm, fanboyism claiming that it isnt the most efficient build is irrelevant to whether or not people enjoyed cRPG post-patch and quit. Be as much of a fanboy as you want, but unless you love DTV you need other people to play this game too.

It's not even possible to play DTV alone atm, you don't manage the ninja wave mostly.

I can't give a picture of a high KDR with this type of play simply because I do not play the meta, but any NA player will remember that SemenStorm repeatedly killed the servers after this patch doing just these types of builds.

It doesn't just have to be the long maul, any long weapon should not be able to be used so fast. WPF should be a bonus to your weapon speed, not change it entirely.
