Title: I`m looking for someone who can design a banner for my clan!

 I`m looking for someone who can design a banner for my clan.

In the foreground, there should be a nosediving eagle made out of metal with a sword in his claw(s) , the Background should be gray.

no sowy I am too noob at it, may you can offer something, like money or loomed items, so others might be more affected to do one.

If I knew how to do it, I'd do it for you for free at my best quality. But unfortunately the community of this "game" really values their e-pen size and e-fame so in order to get a mediocre looking banner you need to pay an arm, or maybe a leg, or sometimes both.

Not true!! Liberal Jaede was kind of enough to help me out when I wanted to create my first banner. I had no experience in making banners... I used GIMP and found it pretty easy to use.



"First thing you'll want to do is open up Photoshop or some other image editing program. GIMP or Paint.net would also work (but PS is superior).

You'll want to start by creating a new "document" or workspace with the dimensions 132x340 pixels.
Make sure that you also set the resolution to, say, 300. That's print quality, but hey, more pixels = less loss.

The hard part = Actually creating your banner. Have you ever done image editing before? If you haven't, I know of a few people who sell their skills creating banners for cRPG gold. But hey, you can't get better unless you try and fail a few hundred times. That's how I did it anyway.

So you know, find some decent resolution images on Google or whatever. Say you wanted to find images of swords: Search for "sword vector". The word "vector" is your friend here.

Don't get too detailed either: cRPG is shit, and overly intricate banners will look like shit. I promise you.

Once you get your design down and it's perfect, you'll probably want to make it look like it's not 2D.

Take that and make it your top layer, then adjust the opacity on it. It WILL dull your banner's color, but it'll also give it some life. It's all experimentation in the end! Fun stuff. Oh, and save your banner in .png

Then, to actually get your banner in game, you'll need to start up a clan and purchase a banner slot. I'm not sure if you've dealt with the marketplace before or how long you've been around, but holy Christ, buying a banner is EXPENSIVE. Expect to put down 150k, unless you just want to bid on every banner slot that comes up. You can totally get a banner with only 40 or 50k, but it'll be a few weeks." - Liberal Jaede

Banner slots are way cheaper now adays. Renewed mine for only 16k.
