We've been working on our Combat AI (Bots) and would like to offer a glimpse of its current state — it is by no means completely done and we'll continue to fine-tune it along the development.
More to be revealed about AI use in the future. For now, what we can divulge is that we're thinking beyond simply training and tutorials.
Current difficulty levels:
– Pacifist (Block only) – Easy – Normal – Hard – Insane

Sometimes I had to stop the video because I was laughing so hard :D
But what are your actual plans for the future?

all your bots are belong to us
very nice. One thing that I wished Native had was a tutorial where I could go up against different bots using real weapons especially practice against 2H and Pole. That goes a long way in making the game a little more friendly toward new players and opens up possibilities of AI battles.
You know what would be really cool is if you could somehow train a bot to mimic your style of play and it could be downloaded by all to use or play against.

my two cents: while the point of the video is to show the ai and it seems solid on the video I think
animations look silly(but I guess that's normal considering there's a lot of work to be done)
sounds are quite bad, I don't know if those are the one you guys recorded with real weapons or placeholders but to me it seems like two people are duelling with forks
on another topic please give to us plebs a pay2alpha version so people who want to help with the developing of the game with their suggestions/opinions can post them

Making bot AI isn't hard, but making good bot AI takes a lot of work.
I'm glad to see how well this works for 1v1 fighting. The feinting and footwork look like a person is playing! Do you plan to have bots use teamwork (flanking single enemy targets, charging in formation/groups, etc)?

Footwork of bots are really nice, its not like Mount and Blade bots which blocks your second attack %100. This way bots can be in regular servers aswell, i think.
