anyone know if a beta or alpha is currently in testing?

Interesting, I think I'd prefer if they just kept the traditional instruments of the real life cultures they are basing their factions on. For me adding in all those violins and string instruments to make it sound "epic" for the final versions is a bit annoying imo. The unique instruments are great by themselves!
As for the alpha and beta, we are still a long way from them I reckon, especially the Beta.

Lol, i like how with each one they have a painstaking amount of effort put into special instruments and types of melody for the different culture, and then in their 'Final Result' for each one they all sound like identical 'epic' tv soundtracks without a trace of the uniqueness they had.
Exactly Heskeytime exactly!

This. It was so fine sounding on its own, then that happened. Finalised version? More like bastardized.
-
Yes, the final versions look bastardized, but I wouldn't mind having them as a soundtrack, they are fine, lets be honest.
-
They'll be fine because they sound like generic epic film/game music, and that's cool. Just a shame they had to showcase how much work and effort they put into doing something distinct with each culture that wont make it into the game.
I won't blame them, even if the "nordic" instruments sounded cool.

Ouuh yeah !
