Title: What is a decent xbow wpf while you have a 1h+shield?

I'd say 80 is decent with regular bolts+hunting crossbow. Maybe more if you want to use steel bolts.

Hunting xbow can get by with pretty low wpf. 80-100 sounds about right.

If you keep a 0 slot weapon and 1 slot shield around, you can upgrade to light or regular xbow when you feel like changing your gear around. The regular xbow packs a nice punch and reloads at a decent speed even if you have low wpf.

No matter what you do, only make mid-range shots. your accuracy won't be good enough for long ranged sniping, and especially with the light and hunting xbow your bolts will drop before they can get that far anyway.

we need macbeth here, he had the most brutal xbow+shield build I´ve ever seen :/

Noo8 (bimbo) also got a brutal build. It's the same, i think it's 18/24 with around 155 in crossbow and around 90-100 in 1h.

I believe 100 wpf gives you the fastest possible reload speed. As for aiming the hunting xbow it is easy enough to aim with no wpf so 80-100 should give you good accuracy.
