Looks nice. Are there going to be vehicles?
Sooo, Insurgency with vehicles? Does that describe it well?
If there's no Allahu Akbar voice taunts not getting it. Unless there's VOIP and then u can spam Allahu Akbar mp3 files.
Voip is fully implemented with voice positioning so you can tell where are your buddies.
Can you sign up to a alpha/beta or no?
I really don't see what's so special about this game.Yeah, it looks a bit too much like Insurgency or something. What does it offer that Arma 3 and/or Insurgency don't?
It's an adjective Xant, it has a very clear meaning to me. Depth means there is lots to it, it's not simplistic or repetative, there is complexity in the mechanics of the game.Yes, it's an adjective that has no clear definition when it comes to gameplay, who defines what constitutes deep gameplay? Is Insurgency not deep? Certainly the devs would claim so, pretty sure all devs of all games would.
The addition of vehicles and basebuilding is good to me, those are both fairly significant gameplay additions which add replayability and variety in experience. This discussion is pointless as we havent had hands on experience, from what they have announced on Kickstarter and their website it looks promising though.
Something tells me, like PR it will be a game that hates on pubs and if a pub without mic joins a random squad you'll get kicked. I'd rather stick to BF/Insurgency or whatever if i want some FPS action
I played PR for a pretty long time, and I don't recall people hating on "pubs" that much. All you really had to do was be in mumble (which automatically syncs with the game) and be able to listen to your teammates, I've had some pretty good matches where over half of my squad had to type in squad chat.
PR isn't a game you play without a mic.

PR my old friend Leader: Hello, got mic?
Yours truly: No. I can type. (Plus btw AFAIK wasn't there VOIP that they used as well?)
PR my old friend leader: Sorry u have to leave cuz only fgts allowed
Yours truly: gg.jpg
Meh, PR has a pretty hardcore group of dedicated people who are into that kind of stuff. Nothing wrong with them playing how they want, with others of a similar mind set. Mics are cheap anyways, no excuse to not have one.
So cheesyThey even release a new version of project reality 1.3 standalone the same day that their Kickstarter started. Smart PR team
I prefer to not use mics. One thing talking to someone IRL when LANing or back during the good ole days when playing splitscreen Halo 1 on Xbox or any other console game with a REAL FRIEND AND PERSON YOU CAN SEE but not comfortable using mic to talk to randomers online. Whatevs. Insurgency, BF games will have 2 suffice for FPS fix.
Plus in general i despise ''standalone mics''. Headsets is the way 2 go.
>Weapon collision has been added. Be careful in tight spaces!
I god damn hate when games do this, it's not realistic, just annoying.
