Title: What did you get for Christmas?

I'm surprised this thread hasn't popped up yet. Every forum on the interet does this in their general discussion subforum. So anyway, what did ya get for Crhistmas? Or Chanukah or Kwanzaa or Festivus, etc. ?

I got a new mattress, heated blanket, and high thread count cotton sheets. Feels good man. Got a cheap laptop that can't play any games but has giant screen. Perfect for internet browsing or watching shows/movies in bed. And pajama pants. I fuckin' love getting cozy new PJ pants for Christmas. Also a big bag of fancypants coffee. Gonna break out the French press for that shit.

How 'bout you guys? Watcha get?

2 cosy pullovers I asked for, some cash and a car radio transmitter I should have bought 4 years ago (since my car radio is built-in and I´m fed up with burning cds/listening to the same tracks 30 times)

I also gave out a lot air-tight "spice" jars to people.

What's that, a 1000 dollars worth of stuff? Who gives you all this shit and how does such a thing even work?

Take your newmy old friend gift giving holiday somewhere else, it didn't catch on everywhere in the Netherlands. As a kid I got gifts for Sinterklaas, which is the OG gift giver Santa Claus was based on. Budget for that was usually more in the 15 dollar range though. For Christmas I got a dinner with my family.

Got cash and some fancy chocolate this year. Got my pc last year and a tv the year before that, so i dont really have much to wish for now anyways hm..

So, what is wrong with parents that still give you stuff worth up to 1000€ just because you are yourself in your twenties and dont live at home anymore? No need to be 12 for that. ;)

I got some glassware, some books, fuckload of sweets and a cool t-shirt for Christmas. Damn, i actually outgifted my parents (in terms of monetary value) this year O_o

I got a GoPro, a lumberjack candle, socks, underpants, some cash, and vouchers with which i bought..... Some wetsuit boots, wetsuit gloves, a tenon saw + block, and microwave egg poacher, Gopro accessories, some Posca pens, and a hand blender.

Got a PS2 with Dynasty Warriors 3, one of my old favorites, an amazon giftcard, and a few other small things. I got my mom a nice case of tea, and bought my dad a warm winter hat.

fukken sick, DW 3 and 4 are my favorites of the whole series

I started a new game of Earthbound on my laptop. Fished out an old Playstation 1 to USB controller thingy and synced it up with ZSNES so now I can play it in bed with a controller. If anyone hasn't played that game but has beaten at least one RPG, go play it now.

I got a new Headset (broke old one playing Dota 2), a cheap gaming keyboard and mouse. I've used normal keyboard and mice for years and didn't know what else to ask for.

The sad thing is my computer pretty much died like 2 days before Christmas so all these presents are pretty much useless to me until I fix it...  :'(
