Title: Question About Investor Status
Post by: MeatBunny on November 23, 2014, 10:47:43 pm
When we were at the investor stage I bought two "shares". Does that mean I get two $70 tier pledges, which would mean four copies of the game? Just wondering I'm a bit confused.

I hope this doesn't backfire: no. We thought about it, but we can't do that.

I understand that this sounds weird at first, but it would actually mean we would lose money. Your reward is the investment coming back in case of success. Those things here are vanity items. Especially things like the custom made stuff (animations, armors, weapons, horses etc) costs us time. So we would basically be working to fulfill backward pledges. That's why we just put everyone at the 65$ level as a thank you/boost, but not further.

Does that make sense/is that ok? I'm really not trying to be a jerk here

But what is the $65 level? Why not say the $45 or $70 level. Is 65 a typo?

dude, 65 means 65. If you do nothing you will count as someone that has pledged 65$ = receive 45$ reward. If you pledge another 25, that will make 25+65=90 you will get the 90$ reward.

It's the 45 level with 20 added towards it so if you add 5 you get another copy.

Isn't this answering a different question?

I think MeatBunny wants to know if, by having two investments, he has two seperate pledges at $65, which can both be upgraded.

The chadz was responding to someone who wanted to know if their two investments add together to make a big investment.

Personally, I think it's very generous giving us a Kickstarter boost at all, so it's not unfair if the answer is the same, but you might have misread.

well, chadz says there that every investor is put to 65$, regardless the investment(s).

Yep, it doesnt matter if you invested 1 time or 30, you only get 1 "free" 65$ pledge on KS that can be upgraded.

From what I asked as was answered:
Lt_Anders: When the game is released, you'll get 2 copies of the game that are the "Full Pack" at 45$ - you can upgrade one of those packs by pledging more money.

@ everyone - could you do me a favor and ask your game related questions in the KS page? It's important to get some discussions there, the comments section is a bit weak
