Most of you know Mercenaries, we've been known for our exceptional performance in the battlefield, but unfortunately by time we got cocky and became fat and bored. One of our first rule is : we do not lecture our members about their behaviour in public. If they wanna troll they can troll, unfortunately few trolls in our clan made an impression on community that all Mercenaries are like that.
After few losses in tournaments, member inactivity, some wrong decision in our recruitment policy, losing some of our members and whole staff vs mercs drama made members realize that we cannot go on like that. We used to hope that Strategus will come out and all of the first generation inactive mercenaries will come back then we will be a big happy family again. Which is not gonna happen any time soon.
Therefor we made a new policy, from now on we gonna be much more careful about applicants.

As an ancient player, first generation merc and as a leader, I would like to thank my clan members who helped me to develop the new system and I would really like to thank all of the other clans for kicking our asses in battle field which forced us to realize we are not what we used to be.

Mercenaries
A decent-sized elite clan of soldiers for hire.

Strategus
Strongest independent force in Strategus, pivotal in its history. Own large tracts of land in the heartlands.

Recruitment Rules (New System May 21st 2011)
We "only" accept application on our official website (http://merc-crpg.eu/index.html) and We "only" accept EU players.

Step 1 : Use Vargas's character planner (http://sayginsoher.com/merccrpg/calculator/) and give us a detailed information about your ideal level 31 player. It must be your main character. We might suggest you few tips but you might get refused too.
Step 2: Based on your build we will sign you up to our training program. For this program we request Team-speak and you must use our banner (check the list below). The moment you are in our training program, you'll be using MercA_ tag, means you are a member of Merc academy.
The goal of Merc Academy is training the applicants to a Merc level but only decent players are accepted.

Stages of Mercenaries Academy :
First step is training with the trainers. They will help you to improve your skills and team play. But its a harsh system. 
Trainers will help you to improve yourself but in the you will have to face them in the arena. You also have to face the other Academy members. 
The weakest links will be dropped out of the academy.
Stage 1 : Improving your skills
Stage 2 : Challenging the other academy members 
Stage 3 : Challenging a Mercenary (You must win at least 2 out of 5 duels)
Note : Long-term inactivity might cause being dropped out of the whole system.


Step 3 : If you can pass all of the training stages you'll earn the title of being a Mercenary, you'll be listed in members list,you'll have your fief in Strategus and you'll be able to participate in events (Tournaments, Clan battles, Strategus battles etc.)

We've always had our little troubles with the mercs coming from both sides as far as I know that all had been resolved besides (hurr) gtx and dave who don't seem to share love.

I had deleted my toons around june, but i got the revived and  been back for around for over week :)

Still can't shoot a thing properly XD
