Horsies are all made of paper since the revival patch. You're actually forced to play like a cunt now and hide 24/7. A simple 1h will 1 hit you. Everything 1 hits you.  :rolleyes:

Just respecc something completely homosexual meanwhile (read 2h *cough*) and wait for some horsie love.

Server is full of xbow and 1 hand with shield because it is the most efficient way to play atm when we have such high levels. Don't need to spend anything to use a xbow except a bit of WPF and it gives you amazing melee ability with such high level, not to mention protection from ranged as well

Yes xbowers are definitely advantaged with this patch

I've seen a couple dedicated Xbow players since I started playing again. Not sure what time do you play but in late evening/night (GMT+1) there are few ranged players on servers. Less than ever if I recall right. Servers are swarmed with 2H, the same class I play.

Well, I break most shields in two or three hits.  :wink: There are so many axes out there. Shields won't last long.

Shielders and crossbows now? Well that changed quickly then. My exact thoughts when I played somewhat actively for a week after the patch was that everybody seemed to play fast high armour 2h and that there were hardly any crossbows anymore.

Playing 15 vs 15 about 5-7 xbows per team. Tis nuts.

Got same impression. My build is 18/27 with 9 ATH and moderate armour and I don't feel fast or particularly agile at all.

It's the game meta evolving slowly after each free respecc. With all the 2h swarm post patch a natural counter had to rise to the occasion. And that is a good thing, means people are using their grey matter.

Give it some more time to see where it lands (and pray for some more tweaks).

That moment when you come back after a long pause, and realize how odd everything seems at first (this game is really really weird compared to everything else) and wondering why are twohanded animations so strange. After some time you adapt and this game becomes 'normal' for you and everything else seems strange. It's a really weird thing.

After two days I still think 2H anims are bollocks and can't stand them. Will respec to 1H or poles, just to spare myself of two-ha bullshitness.

wrong timing for me to buy a +3 rouncey D: every 1h short sword 1hits me and a simple HA arrow does 1/2 and they rapid fire those shots :|

i swear to god i got 2 shot by daan with a katana and 7 ps, i have around 45 head armor and around 55 body armor, i pay a lot for it, i have 7 IF and 23 STR and still a katana 2 shots me :l

Horses always plays like cunts anyways, only difference is that they are weaker cunts now. Good riddance, they still annoy the shit outta me, nothing like getting couched as a late spawner och just getting poked in the back while fighting infantry.

Really? With the speed movement and momentum I usually have, I'm pretty sure I'd get almost 1 shot with those stats.  :rolleyes:

You do know that cav are supportive roles? That's their main objective, to disrupt the main battle and turn the tide? When a simple peasant sneeze will kill an armored warhorse that pretty much forces you to be even more of a cunt and hide 24/7 waiting for the perfect "helpless" target.

Disregard this I'm a complete suicidal maniac and simply die and GTX to another server anyway. Specially when a 2h sperglord decides to do an amazing ubber realistic jump vault 360ยบ scope around your 218973189237 meter long lace and 1 hit you and your armored horse, because fuck logic and reasoning.  :lol:

supportive roles? Oh maaaan ive seen ''supportive roles'' topping the boards many times, while my supposedly influencing shielder should be able to take more than 1 arrow hit

Paper horses? Cataphract is just as tanky as before, Plated Charger is -20k gold and tankier than horses of equivalent prices from past patches, and ranged deal less damage to them. Melee has just received a power increase and the legs' 0 armor thing.
