Title: Back from 2 year break, what's new?
Post by: lonesome_killer on October 27, 2014, 05:25:49 pm
Hi all.  I played this game about 2 years ago.  Now I'm back.  I see my character is reset and there's some new things.

I had a shielder before.  I had a short sword and some throwing axes and javelins.  Should I spec into what I had before?  Are the skills significantly different that I should do some build guides lookup before respeccing?

Thanks in advance.

Most people were shifted up 3-5 levels recently, it'll probably be easiest to test the waters with a STF character.

Level 35 is the new retirement level (Slightly under 8 million exp).

Build for level 34 if you plan on retiring, use San's calculator. (http://tinyurl.com/crpgcalc)

I'd suggest having at least 6-7 athletics as a baseline so that you don't get s-keyed all the time, though most people seem to have more nowadays.

Convert some of them attrib points to get more IF and PS, most people have upwards of 24 str nowadays so you're gonna need survivability, and power behind them hits
