Currently many people are running builds with 60+ hp. The hard cap essentially means that we have to shoot other targets usually 5+ times and only if we are landing shots that breach the 15 dmg threshold in the first place. Most of the time that doesn't happen.
HR are good at pulling the heat of regular range, off infantry. Currently we are such a low threat that people basically only kill us out of spite, or to shut down our horse which is a far greater threat than the weapons we are carrying.
The damage cap doesn't dissuade the HR players from playing, it just makes us considerably less effective at dealing with our primary targets, cav and other range as well as low armour agi players. We are a covering screen for out team, and currently we may as well just take shields and ram people.
I propose that the hard cap be removed completely. It isn't having a positive effect on game play and even the people on the receiving end of our pewpew are beginning to feel pangs of empathy for our miserable plight.
If we could have a dmg cap of 20-25 on body shots while leaving head shots alone I'd be for it. It would make our lives harder but not impossible. As it stands though it's just a terrible idea.

As mounted thrower, I feel like novelty plaything trotting around. Does not do any real damage anymore.
Charging with a throwinglance straight towards the enemy used to be the most fun of all.
Now it just feels like suicide.

The 20% penalty is still there, however. Going to play for a while and check their damage output. Everyone gets the damage reporter hopefully next patch so any additional info would be helpful.

Yeah boyyyy ! It's one of the best thing you're going to do there, giving community the ability to see what they really do instead of relying on builds made of paper. :)

Finally.
Just please tell me that we won't see "[Insert name here] is using the show names cheat!" spammed as everyone in the entire server uses the damage reporter.

Would be nice if you speed up the patching.
Im waiting for it, and probably many others too. No point in playing before it is fixed for many of us.

San it will not be enough,
I can barely scratch player (with armor (not even heavy) and horse and that not because of the cap (using Yumi and bodkin and 190 MW with no armor).
Other cav beside heavy cav must fear us, not it's a joke and it will still be a joke with the 15 dmg cap removed. Like i already said we must split our skill we cannot have more than 21PD on regular horse other wise we are too slow.
Remove the cap, remove the 20 %
The ammo and the speed are really enough already....

Only chadz can push the patch button. I was ready for one a few weeks ago honestly. Gonna have to check a lot of different builds. Perhaps strength-oriented HA can provide the much needed damage. If I find the 20% problematic, I'll speak with the one who implemented it or create a thread about it in the balance forums. Can't really test it properly with the 15 damage cap.

Horse archers completely kill the servers, late nights are awful when some douchers come on the server and kill it will horse archers. Please leave them nerfed or just remove them from the game and almost everyone would be happy, guaranteed.
