Title: Why the War Dart Nerf?

Last patch War Darts lost 1 damage, and 1 speed.

Why did they get nerfed please? I always thought they were really weak before that, and now they've been made worse.

It was a blanket change to all throwing weapons in response to the level increase. Looking at the weapons again, Darts, War Darts, Franciscas, and Javelins needed some changes which passed the other day.

I do not understand the logic of the patchchanges.

All players become stronger and faster. So... lets reduce damage on all throwing weapons...and horses for that matter.

Takes 3 MW throwinglances to the body now to kill an archer..atleast from horseback... balance achieved!
Have not been able to kill anyone with my MW throwingdaggers yet..

Should adjust upkeep to reflect the uselessness of ranged and mounted ranged.
So that you actually make gold while playing.

That 3 MW throwing lances from horseback example is a bug, currently xbow/throwing are both unintentionally capped at 15 damage from horseback, which will be addressed next hotfix/patch.

I'm not certain that the 20% damage nerf on horseback is intended to affect xbow/throwing either.

Until then, if you're going to be mounted ranged, aim for horses or use low-ish damage builds so that you're not affected by the cap.
