So I was wondering how many new players did sign up?
Is the patch actually working for that?
-
I told one of my friend about it and even though he play Warband, it didn't and won't change his activity. My personal opinion? Revival patch is infected with Ebola

It's too early to say. When we added the moddb entry a while back and bumped it we got ~100
new accounts per day for a few weeks.
-
Wait, do people expect an influx of new players?
-
funny right
-
The question would be if new players are actually staying. I doubt it, because the main problem is the high average skill and above that still old players seems unreachable with their lvl 37-38 chars and many more looms.

Well we are sorry for being good at this game.

Don't be so hard on yourself... Nobody can blame you for that.

If we are sorry or not doesn't matter, it's a fact. But to additionally present new players that the old players partly have amounts of items and a lvl you need 10000s hours of playing for is at least psychologically just very demotivating. And the patch didn't change anything on that matter.
-
When they start, they start at lvl 25, they get an incredible starter pack, they level up faster, levels XP have been greatly reduced. Before 31 - 35 to 37. Now 35 to 36 - 37 to 38.
Saying nothing has changed is stupid.
New players are gonna have such easy time now if you're gonna compare.

I said it didn't change that you need 10000s hours of playing to get the same lvl and numbers of looms as many of us. Yeah, the discrepancy is much reduced and I hope it will be enough I'm just not convinced, really.

The real question is how many old players will stay after the complete F U to them for all their long years of support. :twisted:visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Seven new people have registered on the forums since the patch launched at least.

Sometimes I wonder if my jokes are too smart or too lame...

Well putting more power in the hands of good players just makes matters worse. Should not really have put the levels up, should be lower if anything so people can't be strong in too many areas
Not saying patch will make it worse for new players, but it seems if their plan is to nerf high levels they didn't really do it the right way imo

To complain about this patch probably.
