Right now I'm one handed plus shield. Next retirement, I want something different.
I was planning on going two-handed and throwing, as I've already done polearms, crossbows post-patch, and one handed. I was also planning on favoring str over agi, as I keep hearing it isn't worth more then 60 or so points in throwing WPF.
Anyway, what would be a good build for this? Is ironflesh worth working into this build?

Also, it would allow me to name myself something obnoxious like "Naruto Fan 37" and run around in ninja clothes throwing ninja stars.

choose throwing weapon you like, have 2 or 3 points more in power throw then the weapon requires(that will give you accuracy) get wpp in throwing to around 150 and everything else in 2h, if u wanna be hybrid.

Yeah, that convinced me....

Yes IF is good. High strength build level 30 24 str, 12 agi (2 converted skill points), 4 IF, 8 PS, 8 PT, 4 weaponamster, 4 athletics. Put 2/3rds of your points into throwing and the other 1/3 into 2H.

I'd be doing it ironically.
Anyway, 2 handed or polearm?

I'd recommend polearm cause alot of the more useful(i.e. pierce type) throwing weapons can turn into handy polearms with an "x" button touch

Think I'll just go 2 handed. Crushthrough + knockdown on many different weapons looks pretty damn slick.

You might want to check out War Darts as your throwing weapon. If you invest heavlity in Throwing skills PT/WPP, it might work better then higher level weapons, since it has pierce damage - yet there are 7 darts in one stack. With low throwing wp's, i would just take lances/jarids ( if you can afford them ) so you can use them as your "before charging" weapon to make few peasant insta kills.

That was the plan. War-darts or axes.
Either way I've got a buddy who is a dedicated thrown that says over 80 WPF isn't worth beans, as the weapons are so inaccurate regardless, so I'd be better off throwing the rest into 2-handed.

You can't reach 150 with WM lower than 6 since patch, at least not in 1h proficiency. Maybe throwing scales differently, but I don't think so.

I can support this. I have 87 WPF in throwing and it doesn't get much better, axes are not accurate ;)
Heavy throwing axes are hilarious. \o/
