Hey guys,
If you maybe haven't noticed, the amount of slots shields take are not shown on the Crpg site! (in the shop)

Small shields=0 slots.
bigger one with less than 8 weight=1 slot
8 weight or more=2 slots

so only the round steel buckler and that other small shield are 0slot?

I Think tjat you have played this game Long enough to know what shield is 0 slot and what is not.

There are many exceptions. I've had shield skill for the past 3 yrs and I didn't know the Heavy Kite was 1-slot until I got one, for instance.
Bucklers are 0-slot
All 7kg+ shields are 2-slot, except the Board Shield, which is 7kg and 1-slot.
Triangle Shield is 5.5 kg and 2-slot.
It would be very nice if this info was on the website.

It's been like that for literally ever. I brought it up in 2011 and people thumbed their noses at me. It ain't ever changin brah.

I've made STF chars just to find out how many slots certain shields required. A roundabout way to get the info, but beats spending my own gold.

Seems like a logical addition along with attack animations a weapon uses, secondary mode stats, whether or not a weapon is usable with a shield, and speed rating for ranged weapons inside the detailed box that pops up (currently displays missile speed twice).
For the pragmatic:
The two bucklers are the only 0s shields.
Most shields are 1s. Heavy heater is definitely 1s, so I don't think the 7 weight rule above is up to date.
The 2s shields that I know of are steel shield, and heavy board shield, but I haven't tried all of them.

triangle shield is 2 slots aswell
