Title: Can't play old character

I lost my old access code and I went ahead and bought one off steam. Now I can't access my old character which is generation 8 and has all my equipment :/ I can sign in on my browser but everytime I select them in the game I get kicked from the server immediately. Is there anyway I could get some help with this?

I get the message "this character belongs to someone else"

Yes, that's exactly what it means - your old character belongs to someone else - that being your old cd-key. If you want your chars transferred to a diff cd-key - ask harald.

I've tried to pm him but every time I try to send a message I get the characters in the box wrong. I've tried at least 10 times and I know that I get the letters correct most of the time but it still gives me that error message... I'm not a robot ><

Click the chat link on top and query him in IRC instead. You can't send PMs on forum until a certain post count.
