Farewell and good luck.

I'd like to be considered.  I "quit" the game a while back, and held a writing contest to give away all my looms.  It was a great success, bringing out creativity from our normally inept playerbase.

Anyways, now that I'm back, I have a shortage of looms.  I'm the generous type, so you know that if I ever leave again, I will also pass on the loom(s) to those deserving, so that your legacy may live on.  I'll also accept any loom, give me the one(s) that the others want least.

Either way, thanks for spreading the love!

Bobby I got to see most of your epic moments of truly extraordinary catapulting on defense - destroying enemies, siege towers, and catapults alike - you will be missed.  No other person in this game has ever catapulted as well as you have.  Thank you for those epic strat battles!

P.S.  My two cents is for the Champion Rouncey and Mighty Morningstar so that I can be a dirty dirty 2-hand cav instead of an evil archer.  Of course if you think I should stay archer then the Deadly Military  Sickle would support that with a great 1-slot two-hander in secondary mode.  You decide!

Shynbaulds, please. I have +3 great bascinet and +3 grey corrazina armor. Need those boots to complete my suit of armor.

If you give me anything at all, you can rest assured it will spend lots of time in clan armories so that everyone can have fun with it. I am an active player and always stash my looms into the clan armory before I log off at the end of a gaming session.

I'm probably the last person who deserves any more looms after the stuff I got from Leshma, but if you can't find anyone else to give it to, I'd be happy to use your Longsword while you're gone :)

I recently respecced my thrower into 2H, but have no 2H weapons anymore, so the Longsword would be a nice to have.

I don't know you personally other then that I've seen you man the catapults in strat battles for years but I'd still like the Lordly Heraldic Transitional Armor or the Lordly Brigandine if the previously mentioned is gone. Rest assured that you will get it back if you decide to come back. I like to pass around my looms to close friends aswell so I'm not the only one you're gonna make happy  :P

I always wanted a +3 donkey and a +3 rouncey. Since there is no donkey offers on the market, that rouncey would be nice to me.
Also, as a cav, i need a pair of boots +3 because it's the only item i need to complete my stuff.

I would use anything you gave me to put up as a reward for a tournament/event, or to give to a new player, or my clan atmory. You don't really know me and I'm not grovelling for your stuff but if you were to give me something it would go to a better purpose than just sitting on my account.

Shame to here you will be gone man, we always kept things bumping in this forum together, especially the Dev blogs for M:BG :) . So yeah , good luck man and if you wouldn't mind donating some looms to The Norsemen armoury that would be really cool. We have changed our name and theme from Band of Foxes, and some extra looms would be very helpful for attracting new players :)

2 years laters cRPG should be still around by then (Its almost as long as 4 years now and yet its not dead). I'll suggest not to give away any looms because you will really regret it if you decided to play cRPG again.

think about the amount of time you spent playing this mod to earn those looms. it takes ages to earn them man. well in the end its up to you to decide.
don't forget you can just put all your looms to Templar's armory so it can be in good use.

Team members have asked me whether our expenditures could be covered. We edit meshes, textures, and make new items. This is why we often have to buy items we would not normally use. For example, we needed Black Greaves to present the Black Gothic Knight nicely. Matt and Blackbow had to buy several helmets for the Luxurious Aketon set, and so on. We are going to buy much more (giving Highland Claymore and Two Handed Sword a better-quality texture next, the list is long).

I thought about telling the team to make a list of expenditures and asking the devs for a refund, but since the recent overdue raffle-drawings haven't been made and the prizes were not given away, I suppose they are busy with other things at the moment. Looking for help elsewhere would save us the time to make these lists and monitor their correctness (private consumption vs. expenditures for modeling and presentation hard to distinguish; incentives for opportunistic behavior).

Bobby, once you have served all your friends, if there are any items left, I would like to have one, sell it on the market and split the gold among our active team members. Everyone's share would be higher than their expected expenditures and there would be less motivation to edit items without double-checking their quality with in-game screenshots. If you decide to support us with an item, I will post screenshots of the transaction to every team member in this thread for accountability.

Well, I became addicted to video games. Tried to not be addicted, quit for 2 years. Came back, BAM cRPG. Tried to quit again, got rid of all my looms 32 +3's. Then came back. Got less than 1/4 of my looms back. Quit again. Came back and sold looms to buy a respec, and now I only have a few +3's that are actually mine. Whatever I would receive I would of course put into the armory whilst I wasn't using it for all of the clan to use.

Pls help he who has the power to grant.

Top choices in order of what I would want if it were to come down to it.
#1: Masterpiece Elite Cavalry Shield
#2: Masterwork Nordic Champion's Sword
#3: Lordly Hourglass Gauntlets
#4: Champion War Horse
#5: Masterwork Longsword

My clan has been slowly but surely introducing several new players to this mod by recruiting from other mods like PW and such. As such, nearly all the looms in our armory are being put to use by someone, and we could always use more to help them get started (the constant complaint from these guys is always "If only I had some looms, then I could actually compete with the rest of the playerbase").

Looking over the list of items in our armory, the types of items we are lacking in would best be represented by the following (although I am sure the newbies wouldn't be too picky):

   Lordly Hourglass Gauntlets             
   Masterpiece Elite Cavalry Shield     
   Masterwork Nordic Champion's Sword

I deserve everything actually, because I already got tons of looms by abusing the marketplace, so I need as many looms as possible to scam more noobs and be even more rich than I already am (got like 250 looms already, my aim is 500 till the new year comes). So as you can see, you should probably give me everything. Maybe even ask some friends if they got a few looms for me as well.

A long time ago... several generations in fact... about two years... The Ancestor of my main: Serastrus, had finally crossed the threshold... he had started to learn how to block not once, not twice but many times in a fight.

He faced off against two templars, you were one of them Bobby, it is one of my best moments in crpg. It was so educational to play until early morning and managing to win more than 10% of the duels we had.

I would love to get my hands on the Danish Greatsword, which was used in that fight.

You might not remember that night, and not even my name(back then it was Serastrus), so if you deem this humble request unworthy then please add them to peasants untied armoury instead.

TL;DR We fight late one night, you pwned me hard, I learned how to block better, I want Danish Greatsword as memory of that, give plz ty

I don't really know you, though I've seen you on and around the forums for quite some time. Sad to see anyone go at this point really, we need all the players we can get.

I recently came back after a 6 month break and the only way I'm going to have any will to play is if I could purchase a respec and actually play the build I want, so if you have any spare looms I could use to make that a reality, well hey, I wouldn't complain.  :wink:

Either way though, good luck, and hope to see you on whatever the next c-RPG will be for us!

Look, someone is leaving the game, and is making a request of us.  It is his last will and testament that we speak up and say something if we have any reason to want or deserve the hard-earned looms that he no longer has a use for.

He spend time and effort getting those looms...so to ignore his request would be rude.  If you are a noob, speak up.  If you have a different reason to think you deserve something, speak up.  OP is asking us to say "me me me" and why.   You are being not nice by belittling his request to the community, and mocking those who honor his last act!

Call me unimpressed, but I actually like it when people scatter their belongings (I've done it twice).  It's like a large, aging star, growing fat and massive with looms, finally going supernova and scattering its life-giving elements to the far reaches of the universe.  It's beautiful.

It's actually kind of fun to start over as well.
