I am thinking of making a HT alt, what build should i go and also is Horse Archery needed or not ?
Thanks :)

HA 3 to 4 is like night and day. I definitely recommend 4HA, but 3HA builds are good if you want to hybrid melee such as throwing lance or if you can land bump stabs with throwing spears.
Level 30, 15/24
5 PT
8 Riding
6 WM, 161 throwing wpf
Throwing Spears or Jarids.
This build is best at hunting cav early-mid round and picking off stragglers near the end. Avoid throwing against heavy horses unless they're riding towards you. After using up all of your ammo, pick up a lance or sword off the ground, preferably a couching lance.

I can't tell a lot about builds, but the only thing I can say is that horse archery skill doesn't affect anymore throwing on horseback/on foot.
I've been thinking with jarids and a cavalry sword (for hybrids, foot throwing in town maps):
level 30
15/18
HA :3
IF: 4
PS: 5
ATHL : 6
RID : 6
WM : 6
Throwing : 146
1h : 45
I wouldn't advice you to go for such a class if you aren't experienced with it on foot, because this build is the only one to provide some usefulness on foot, and some resistance at level 30 -> it becomes better to have a 18/18 thrower on high levels like 32/33. If you want to go pure horse throwing, remove PS , ATHL, and IF, make a 18/18 instead, or a 15/21 if you believe you can use the speed of the horse to give some damages. San gave you a good dedicated horse throwing build tho, but once you're on the ground, you're screwed, like with every dedicated cav classes. Make your choices between these builds, looms can only help you out, since it's hard to play, and unconventionnal.

Some people are telling me i need Horse Archery and some are saying it isn't required, im so confused :(

You're going to be a ranged on horseback, so you need it if you don't want to miss every jarid (remember you don't got a lot of them). And as I said, the lack of any penalty from HA on throwing wpf is one of the only advantage of your class, so, try to get some benefit out of it.

I've played the class fairly lot. Definately the most fun class to be played! Word of caution; it's very expensive to play, you can expect to lose 300k-400k gold in a generation. So make sure you can afford it.
San's build is fairly close to what I've found optimal for myself.
Level 30:
15/24
Rid 8
HA 4
PT 5
WM 5 -> wpf 149
Save the extra point, so at level 32 you can have 18/24 with PT 6.

here's mine:
lvl 30
18/21
6pt
3horse archery
7riding
7wm---->170 wpf
using Jarid or Throwing spear
-
Please throw your horses gently

there's so much conflicting information regarding HA and throwing.
does it or does it not effect your accuracy on donkey(or horse)back?

You can save on upkeep by "borrowing" horses from those who aren't using them. I assure this is an efficient and ethical way to play this class.

By taking HA skill as a horse thrower, you don't get any penalty on your wpf, but it still increases your accuracy on horseback

Yes. Even 0 and 2ha is a big difference in feeling.
