its incredibly broken on siege and any battlemap with hights, nudges are to eazy to hit and the knockback is incredible, a peasant with a 1 hander or pole arm can just nudge people off walls all the time its silly as fuck.

Even if it's reduced, people will still get nudged off if they're not careful. Staying close to a wall ensures that you don't have to worry about it.

super weird argument, so dont reduce it because u know u still have to be carefull, just keep it like it is now where if youre hit by a nudge on a wall u will fall off 90% of the time, gj dude

No, the argument is that the only people who have such a problem with it consistently will still have a problem with it after it's reduced. Nudge knockback scales with strength, shield skill, and whether you're attacking/blocking/neutral and you can already reduce knockback with those methods and being knowledgeable of your surroundings. It'll still happen to everyone every once in a while but most will adapt according to the situation.

shield nudge spam every 3 seconds on walls, alot of walls/ high paths are narrow, the chance of getting nudged of is to great, how skilled or knowlegable you are, but i bet you just avoid being put in a situation where u can be nudged of witch isnt really a good awnser. and dont get me starting how eazy it is to defend some ladders with this nudge bullshit. im not here saying nudge should be removed, but hte knockback is a fuckin joke thats all.

I think a nice first step is to tell us how far in meters your average shielder can push someone using nudge. I would like to separate truth from hyperbole if you're really that concerned.

I don't think that shield bashing is really a problem, the only nudge that seems off to me is the one-handed blocking nudge.

I find high strength nudges immersion breaking, not that immersion is the main reason I play crpg, but it still breaks the immersion adding to the desire to log on to one of my troll-build alts.
So... I got an idea that I haven't thought more than a few minutes on:
Nudge=interrupts as usual.
Nudge distance is not "countered" by the victims strength.
For example:
21 str nudge vs 3 str peasat/agi-troll = 21-3 effective nudge strength making the nudge equal to what 18 str is now.
21 str nudge vs 18 str = 3 effective nudge strength
21 str nudge vs 30 str = -12 effective nudge strength = interrupt, no knockback at all.
I dunno the shield bash mechanics so those might actually be less penalized and be able to nudeg better(each shield skill counting as 5 str for the purpose of knockback or something like that)

great idea... if negative ratio, when nudging a str beast, it should be funny to be knocked-down or bashed back yourself ! Just like to bash in a wall !

In my opinion the shoving is too strong because it gives a huge and unnecessary advantage to long weapon users. Forcing the other party to go through your alpha strike after every exchange of swings is very much unbalanced.

It's perfectly fine and actually beneficial for STR build chars that actually need the nudge to prevent face huggers like you being up all in my grill. We are too slow already so this creates the space to whoop ass.

That's only true if you use a STR build and also use a weapon that gives you an alpha strike advantage. It's true that STR synergises better with longer weapons in general. But that doesn't prevent an STR build to use a short weapon with which it is detrimental to shove your enemies around. Actually in many cases I would like my block nudge to stun without shoving because the shove moves the target outside of my reach.
Besides, face huggers are the easiest to hiltslash.
