It's my luck when I knockdown or when my teammate bumps an enemy with his horse. But as I prepare to finish them off, they roll away! I do not know how to roll, but I would like to know how, as I have been in many situations where a roll would have saved my life.
I have followed the instructions of some players who know how, and they say I have to "supertap" or "double tap" the A or D keys. Did I do anything wrong?

It's just a matter of timing. Double tap required, sometimes I spam tap. You can't have any other keys or mouse buttons pressed when doing it, and if you don't do it early enough in the knockdown you won't get it. If you need practice, get someone to repeatedly bump you on the duel server

Basically you need to react quickly. For starters make a mental note to start spamming A or D as soon as you get knocked down. Once you get how it works, its pretty easy to replicate.
