Montageparodies

Those are my subscriptions so far. I rarely look for new subreddits, but I find new ones from time to time.

Tumblrinaction is too depressing. Hadn't heard of it now unti recently, and all of sudden I'm constantly seeing subsmissions from it linked on other forums. To use the lingo, my ability toucan flew away long ago.

How does reddit work exactly?
I don't understand how to navigate it.
Is there any way to see all subsites? Or you just have to search and be lucky if the subject exists?

And isnt it a circlejerk site where they upboat each other and a different opinion isnt allowed?
Title: Re: Favorite subreddits

From what I've seen it depends on the subreddit. Subreddits focusing entirely on political or social issues are almost entirely "safe-space" hugboxes where you can go to have one opinion validated and all others mocked. A sub focusing on, i dunno, model trains or something, you're not gonna have a lot of passion filled arguements, unless it's about some thing that interests only model train nerds and is completely irrelevant to the rest of the world. Something like the Ask Me Anything subreddits can have anything from the president of the US (or, let's be realistic, his PR team) to a vaccuum repairman doing Q&A's. I don't frequent any subreddits and mostly get linked to them from other forums, so I have no idea how to navigate the site beyond the obvious.

It's like how overall tumblr is known as the SJW hub for broken whiny crazies on the net, but realistically most of it is just porn. A bunch of porn. The SJW mob are just a small fraction of the site from the stats I've seen. Just a very loud and obnoxious fraction.

Some can be, many are not.

Pretty much what Oberyn said, the content is user generated, often linking to outside sources, and people comment on it.

Really topic dependent, you might or might not have a bad time praising the lord in r/atheism or something like that.

Thanks. I'm not looking for any discussions about touchy subjects like the jooz or muslims.
Only for stuff like language learning or maybe lifting.

Another cool one: r/explainlikeimfive

Yeah, kinda. I'm sometimes afraid to give negative commentary to training videos or calisthenics books that are absolutely shit because there always are butthurt fanboys to downvote your shit. The veteran users might know better, but it's the newmy old friends who think they know everything that downvote everything they don't agree with. Only making a joke or making a really well explaimed post so the people who know better upvote you as well.

Basically you make an account and when you find a subreddit that is relevant to your interests you
subscribe to it and it will appear on your front page when there are posts you should check out there.

Mostly gaming/gamedev/dev related subreddits. Best source of getting fresh links/info imho, fast and clean. As for "opinionated" subreddits where people "discuss" things and share their "views" and "opinions" about "stuff", have enough of that in here. Tried to use it for porn but that doesn't work very well so far because I mainly use it for getting links to serious stuff and honestly, can't mix those two.

Wish twitter was organized in similar manner, don't like their concept at all. But twitter, combined with g+ is by far the best way of getting stuff I need for my line of work. Reddit has way too many fake experts, sprouting bullshit "facts".

I personally love "threads" made about in-game griefing or hacking, specifically those by feminazzis and white knights concerned about clans of griefers ruining streams or griefing them in game. They get all their "harassment", "bullying", "pathetic"... verbal diahrrea only to justify their e-begging because it's a job; from then on it's just a massive circlejerk. They are all quite hillarious.

Yea, I'm strictly talking about "threads" or however you wanna call them made in reddit about this topic. I shit you not, they get popular and die pretty quick. They are not sections per-se but they work as them.

Unfortunately some replies there have been removed and I can't find some of the other "threads" made about Infoslash. Back in december I read a few other redditors' complains about this matter, but I just can't seem to find them anywhere.

9my old friend are the meme abusers, and pony bundle of stickss are still hated by everyone allthough they did get their own board.

It seemed like there was some sort of attempt at combining tumblr, reddit and 4chinz to get back at that whore, not sure how it went i joined a chatroom that was spreading some details of hers. She also has some nudes circling around on some boards..

Actually, one of the senior members of Reddit contacted Quinn and asked her to accept him either on Facebook or Twitter, can't remember. I saw it in a pic. And I really doubt that half tumblr, with the amount of SJW that dwell it, is really against her. However, from what I've seen, Red army, myg0t, Gamerfood and several other griefer clans have also started to make videos laughing at Zoe Quinn and the reporters that supported her. This may be the start of something really fun.

Wait what? uniting all the boards?

Just who the hell this female is? Do I live under a rock or something, never heard of this before.

Have to watch that long arse video now to see.

Here's a summary: Zoe Quinn and several other devs made a game called Depression Quest which got unnatural praise from different gaming sites. Zoe's ex-bf wrote trash about her on Facebook claiming she was basically a lying and unfaithful wench that had gotten into the pants of several members of these sites, which got him in "trouble". Zoe Quinn complained it was her private life and she wouldn't take none of that, so she started removing threats and comments directed to her. She attacked other people who were spreading this info about her and made copyright claims to remove their content. Some of these "reporters" mentioned above and some fellow gamers started making ridicolous attempts at portraying her as a victim of misoginy, as if she was the most misunderstood person in the world. People got even more pissed-amused, and obviously, responded accordingly, ridiculizing her everywhere on the Internet.

If you ask me, I hope her career flat out dies and she is forced to live off something else. It's bad enough she tried to badly promote a game that looks as if it was written by a 15 y.o. Freud wannabe, but further more made a fool out of herself by pointing out that, she, indeed, is a woman and therefore a victim of the sexist gaming community. Talentless hacks somehow become successful on the web.

PS: I'm surprised anyone found her attractive, I wouldn't even touch her with a spoon.
