Prpavi, you can change arrows back to the native model (which is better as an archer for following flight paths). Their is a couple of threads on the forum on how to do it.
Cool shit. It would help a lot since I'm having a hard time seeing the weapons ingame. It just looks very flat now.
On the other hand, the coloration here is just way over the top. If it was more modest I'd use it (current textures but brighter).

Well, I'm colourblind and it really isn't so hard to find the stuff you threw: its usually stuck in the ground where you threw it.but...but...how the fuck should I know where I threw them? and most of the flying shit has a mind of its own anyways... LOL

Please understand, my life and this mod are two completely separate things. This, and you, are ruining them both. Literally ruining literally both.Please explain. If anything, this will cause fighting to be more challenging, as players will be able to block more effectively.. which some people will feel is a good thing, some people will feel its a bad thing.

BTW, Not all weapons are colored, there is (i think) 2 one-handers not colored, as well as the Nodachi, and the Estoc.
Could always create a different mod and name it cRPG - TRON edition.I would play that, at least we could then drop the "realism" pretense and have fun and interesting maps again.

I'm so immersed when I see men running around in dresses with huge wooden hammers, mongols shooting arrows into ninjas while a two-hander in full plate outruns a peasant and a lancer is desperately trying to overcome his full-body paralysis to hit the guy (who probably looks like he escaped from some futuristic fashion show) just slightly to his right... and all this plays out in beautiful 2005 graphics, the perennial high pitched voice spamming being the spice of it all.

I wanted to try it but only the throwing weapons are colored. Help !try re-installing the final boss's heirloom pack, then, put the colored weapons files into Modules>Crpg>Resources

After some playing, I think this really helps colorblinds. The others? Not so much. There are many things much, much more problematic with modded resources, such as transparent objects and bushes.It really just depends on the individual playing with it. Some people's eyes cant handle it. Personally, my eyes don't get irritated or have any problems with seeing neon, actually, straining my eyes to see the enemy weapon in night battles irritates my eyes more than anything in the mod. (other than seeing arabic/german/samurai on horseback.)
The reach and ingame effects would be the same ofc, but imagine if you just had really simply and obvious 4 directions modded in, and could remove the visuals of your opponent looking up or down with their weapon to try and hide the animation. It feels like that would be possible.

all i can say is, this mod (crpg) is dieing, so who gives a fuck if people want to swing around neon swords.
let people modify their files, remove fog, color textures, transparent buildings, etc,.
the only protection this mod has from "cheating" is the ability to detect autoblock scripts. which is fucking pointless since its easy as hell to block anyway.
if the crpg dev team decide to "do something" about re-textures, etc.. thats great! i would love to see that happen, but realistically, its not going to happen.

Unless they play with darker settings, have visual problems, etc. Also, if people turn off particle effects, they can't see the smoke from a smoke bomb [iirc], does that mean that they admit that they're outskilled if they turn it off?
