Title: People of Sweden I call upon thee.
Post by: Andswaru on August 04, 2014, 11:01:16 pm
Any of you ever been canoing in Sweden around the Svartälven area? Seen some epic self sustaining adventure style holidays up there and really fancy doing one. However I've no idea if its all hype or if it would actually be any good. Any words of wisedom would be loved.

Are you implying that this player base actually ventures outside?

Haven't been canoing up there but Värmland is very beautiful and the river is quite famous. It's easy enough to stay in one of the lean-to's along the way (or camp by the river if you have tent). Food shouldn't be a problem seeing you have a canoe and don't have to carry it. Though I haven't been there I've done many similar trips and can highly recommend it.

Thanks Jacko, was looking for an adventure style holiday without too much walking, (ha ha ha)and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly.
