Title: Whats with nighttime maps?

How come some maps are nighttime and some are foggy, etc? Is it random or what??

I hate nighttime maps... Can't see anything and half the time there's a glare on my screen...

If you go to your char page, you see the "current" date and weather below your chars name and gold. Not sure though how long a "day" is and when "night" is. Weather is random

Ah.. thanks... Is there no way to change it? It's almost always nighttime during when I play in the daytime... Then daytime at my nighttime

The time doesnt change for me in my profile if I put -6, nor does it change during game as in night/day cycle.

The time offset you set in your settings is just for the forum and has nothing to do with the ingame time, which is determined by the server.

Would be nice to know how long ingame days and nights are though.

I say turn of the nighttime for the pub-servers. Keep it for strat though!

The night maps are really driving me insane. Not only is it hard to see with all the glare, it's really straining on my eyes. I rarely see daylight in the game due to being employed...

Yes I'm spamming the night topics to get some attention!
