Agree or are doolz more important?  I find my self questioning my decision to make our team duel Auphilia after we had vanquished his team.  When it came to be my turn I even let my self be badgered into dropping my shield leaving me to attempt to fend of the swish swish STABARSGLURAFBBPPP of his Long Espada Eslavona with my Iron War Axe.  This did not go well for me or my team.

It's a game. People play in a way that is the most fun for them. Fun equals victory only in the minds of kids and tryhards. Hence a quote about a real life colonel fighting real life war is not even remotely on topic.

In a social context you have to make compromises so that everybody enjoys the game more. Improvised duels are part of that.

When playing normally I get literally all of my kills by lancing people in the back from utop my rocket-propelled super horse.

But, when it comes time for duels, I need to gird my loins and face my enemy like a big-balled, sweaty, sexy man and not like a kill hungry child bitch nerd bitch.

Though sometimes I just couch the last guy(s).

Duel, if you wish. Just don't be upset (and don't grief), if someone does not agree to let the last guy duel or is angry over you losing the round for the team.

Nothing wrong with manning up and dropping your shield to duel someone.  I personally am competitive so I will usually try to gang bang the last guy, especially so if they are talented and could 1v1 the rest of our team.  It's about winning the round in my mind, that's what the objective is.

If you're going to regret it in the future (for some sort of competitive event) then don't go the duel route.  3v1 that hoe

Some people feel honor is overrated, but not if you're a knight like me. basically though, unless you're looking to take risks don't do it. Even i don't volunteer to duel just anyone.

Duels?  Bullshit.  If there are more than 8 players, and a multiplicator is on the line, you do what it takes to win the round and give sweet gold and XP for your fellows -- Even if that means throwing dirt in someone's eyes or thumping some fool on the head and ruining their pansy duel.  This is a team game!  Your teamies depend on you to not fuck around and delay the slaughter of your enemies.

If it's battle then gtfo with that bullshit, duels are for the duel server, you can always try to meet up with an enemy and have a duel in Battle but expect someone to intervene. When it's 1 guy left and everyone lines up to duel him 1 by 1, then they all die and lose their teams multi, it's frustrating and annoying for some people because they could be trying to level back up, they could be new and want to get looms or simply just need the gold the multi brings to fund their upkeep.

If someone wants fair fights and duels then they should go to the duel server instead of costing people their exp and upkeep gold, selfish Fedora tipping cunts.

it's equally as retarded as people refusing to attack someone on the enemy team in the middle of a battle because he is in the same clan, so they just leave their team mate(s) to die.

Yes this is generally true for real life but in a game I always enjoyed my battles when they were fair, close and intense.

if you won't duel someone you're just admitting to being a trash player to everyone watching. How shameful.

I guess it depends on who is left alive. If it's some 2h é peen duelest, they get the couch. If it is some low level new player maybe duels or punch them to death.

Nothing sucks more than being dead and having to watch one guy duel eight guys in a row.  Especially if you're X1.  So show no mercy.  But a little honour helps.  If I'm on my cav guy and happen to be the last person on my team alive, I dismount and charge into the enemy clump.  Even though it's easy to lance bored enemies who are slapping each other.

Personally, I like backstabbing while acting like I'm giving "doolz".

You're not supposed to be here, you're supposed to be off guarding coasts.

My favorite "doolz?" moment was when I was spectating Bernie and the last guy decided to ask for duels and gave the universal up block for a duel sign, but Bernie just looked at him for a second then proceeded to throw an axe into the man's face.

I like to consider myself a little bit above the average skill level when it comes to melee (unless compared to San or some other weenie pro) so on a personal level I love to duel the last guy alive even if he has a high chance of winning. While there have been times where my team had 3-4 players left and we dueled there last guy only to all lose 1 at a time, there have also been times where I have won 1v4s and nothing is more fun and feels better.

Personal preference really. If you want to gank the guy to ensure victory, go ahead.

You sound like you paid too much attention to peer pressure.
