Not sure what glitches you're talking about with Steam because I personally haven't had any issues with it for a very long time. But where Origin is concerned, let's just say it's not hard to have no glitches when your software has next to no features beyond forcing you to use it to play EA's games.

Over the years Steam has had many more issues than Origin, sure they only use it for their product but why shouldn't they? No way they'll be able to compete with Steam anymore.

Of course they've had bugs and issues over the years, how could you expect there not to be?. My point was, bringing up Steams past "glitches" and comparing it to Origin is a rather irrelevant point considering how long Steam has been around and how much more complex it is than Origin, plus Origin has still had its fair share of bugs and problems, on top of their terrible customer service.

The reason a lot of people hate Origin is because it's EA and let's face it, EA is all about maximizing profits regardless of whether a game is actually good or not. They've been involved in the destruction of so many games and they are more concerned about the volume of content they can release and charge people for rather than the quality of what they're charging people for.

I think they have some solid products without a doubt, but EA is still everything that is bad about the gaming industry today, I don't think they were voted worst company in America two years in a row for no reason.

Can we just go back to the old system of piracy prevention and have the answer to a necessary in-game question be in the instruction manual instead of having to have some third-party constantly taking up processes?

No, we can't, and I can't take today's game's 1-3 page instruction manuals with me to the toilet for a diversion when I'm dropping a steamer.
