Title: DutchyDave and the rest of the market scammers
Post by: Panos_ on July 26, 2014, 06:16:33 am
Have the balls and leave the thread open you scamming prick, http://forum.melee.org/buy/buying-any-3-item-for-500k/?topicseen

You`re the lowest of the lowest of the lowest kind, an earthworm, trying to exploit the ignorance of new players or of those who aren`t familiar with the marketplace rules for your own benefit.

(click to show/hide)
You claim that a lp costs 275k, which is incorrect, the average price of a loompoints costs 300k gold nowadays, except if you want quick gold, so you set it -10 to -15k gold.

So you little retard, 630k~ gold equals to 2 lp`s and 30 to 50k gold!

If you are reading this and you are a new player, avoid selling any +3 item for less than 600k gold, no matter how shitty your item is , you can easily trade it for 2 lp`s and some gold!

Most crpgers think that gold is the most valuable trade here, but they are wrong! Time spent is the most valuable trade , so do yourself a favour and avoid trades and traders like this fat wanker.

Here are some other examples of other trades you should avoid

Motherfuckers, if it was up to me I`d ban you in the blink of an eye.

I remember my first loompoint. Sold it for 550k...good ol' times

Panos is doing something good for all the new players around, we should not call him an idiot and retard, but thank him for his duty.
Thanks Panos.

As you can see there is only 2 items I really hope to get being Iron Greaves and a Long Maul, hence a fair offer for both. Im not interested in selling any of the items and that is why they are at top dollar, but if someone really wants an item it is there. Two lps and 50k for the rest of the items is hardly trying to scam but I guess that is a matter of opinion.

Wow panos good work! ;)

Lol so fucking sad, remember when I sold my +3 katana for around 450k or something. Guy didn't want to give it back to me for the same price when I found out I sold it underpriced, he wanted 900k back ...

Also Dieler managed to scam me when I was desperate for a Flamberge, no worries though I sorta knew it :P

My favorites are when you see a market saturated +3 offereed for a rare +3 AND gold... I usually message these people, like really mate, in what world is that even gonna work?

"Have the balls and leave the thread open you scamming prick"

Why have you troll my thread when you make this one?

"So you little retard, 630k~ gold equals to 2 lp`s and 30 to 50k gold!"

And as you can see my minimum offer is 2lp's and 50k  Im just offering 500k for any item = 500k for the shittest item on the market which would most likely be caused from either someone who made a mistake or by a nerf. So I must ask is 500k a scam or maybe am I possibly helping someone out?

"Most crpgers think that gold is the most valuable trade here, but they are wrong! Time spent is the most valuable trade , so do yourself a favour and avoid trades and traders like this fat wanker."

For starters nice language for this entire post. Gold is certainly the most valuable commodity in this game especially with the fast dropping value of the LP

"Motherfuckers, if it was up to me I`d ban you in the blink of an eye."

Pretty good reason it will never be up to you

That's some communist talk, Panos.

Welcome to the comradehood.

But, I can't agree more than that.Prices only depends on how much people asks for your weapon, and trend classes of c-RPG always changes. For example Light Crossbow used to be the most expensive one, among all crossbows, then after HX nerfs everyone wanted to get rid of it, but who knows, maybe one day they will increase it's accuracy and everyone will look for a Light Crossbow again(Lets hope not).

It's almost like you make bad offers, you've already scammed someone. This is capitalism, no one is forced to make only good offers, just like no one is forced to accept bad ones, instead of the good ones.

Good point.

Also no one was ever forced to buy into a ponzi scheme, a pyramid scheme or fake tickets etc. So they are all fine.

But obviously its out of order to alert people when someones trying to con them. Panos you evil swine how can you sleep at night?

How is this relatable to a ponzi or pyramid scheme or fake tickets or anything of the like?

Acts of exploitation that people enter into voluntarily, which according to your logic are therefore fine.

This is a free market, with every kind of people participating.

We are all free to do what we want, and assume the consequences.

Yall seem to forget that this is a game.
C-rpg isn't some fucking investment simulator, it's a goddamn game with new players being fucked out of items due to ignorance of how the system works.

This isn't about what kind of rules are in place or how the system works or some shit like that, it's about being a decent person to your comrades slugging it out alongside you in the trenches of The Grind, and not attempting to screw those who are ignorant (generally those new to crpg or the marketplace)  of the amount their hard earned items are worth but giving these people a fair deal.

What I'm trying to say is; can we stop being so awful to each other?

I'm sorry for the ramble, its 6:40am and I haven't slept.

Could you possibly make it any broader? This includes pretty much everything that is done in this game, both in and out.
