Title: Center the position of a sheathed German Poleaxe
Post by: Panos_ on July 22, 2014, 09:55:22 pm
I`ve used poleaxe, long bardiche and glaive as secondary weapons as a lancer, and I never had similar problems.

GPoleaxe its blocking my POV a lot, and I`m sure that other lancers who use the same polearm have similar problems, can you please center it a bit ??

Or at least turn the blade to look an the right side and not the left.

Thanks.

Using a secondary polearm like the poleaxe as lancer is cancer

More cancer than using couching lance when you have a shield and 1h sword as your "secondary" weapon? I don't think so

Having a poleaxe on your back while lancing shouldn't really be possible. But as it is it should at least follow the laws of gravity, and have the bulk of the axe head hang downwards (same on foot). Always wondered why it turned that way.

Cause the other way up you castrate your horse :D

EDIT: No I really don't have anything constructive to add to this thread. IMO a whole host of weapons of that or similar size need Unsheathable tag.

Because otherwise how the fuck would you be able to carry it on your back? It would just slide off the belt/buckle/whatever fantasy fake thing holds it there atm.

Didn't mean the axe should be turned upside down, merely meant that the axe head should turn right instead of left

And yes, we really shouldn't be able to sheath big two-handers and polearms on our backs at all, with the realism argument. Personally wouldn't mind the mechanics, either.
