Cool an other rage thread

So i was on server playing my lance thrower ... frid was mad after me because he got kill/shot many times ... like insulting me "blackbow fuck you"...
Then enemies finish to win a round with flags help... in france we have an expression about not doing the jew ... and i use it a lot in real life as expression without rly thinking bad stuff...
Anyway i dont see the problem here, people have to stop this victimization of Jews and stop wanted to censure everything... what about free speech ?
Do i have to do a bran thread everythime people say fucking french or fucking gay archers ?

The fact I was mad at you has nothing to do with the ban reason at all. "fucking jews" was not directed at me nor am I even a jew, so it has nothing to do with that insult at you.

Thing is that it's *antisemitism and expressions like "fuck you" are not and not even against the rules except it's excessive griefing which I think was not the case. Anyway this has nothing to do with the ban reason.

BTW I want to point out that I was once banned for being named "jew_lover", so...I just don't want to see any bias towards Blackbow because he probably is very popular and I want him to be treated as any other guy.

Sorry blackbow but you're reasoning is beyond stupid, just reread what you wrote.

1. There's no vengeance involved as I wasn't offended by "fucking jew", the "fuck you" has nothing to do with this ban thread so keep it out please, but I'm excusing myself for calling you that.

2. I wasn't griefing you, one insult isn't griefing (also note the countless times you insulted me in this thread already). And ban thread is no griefing if it's a legit reason, ofcourse I can understand you feel that way though.

3. Paying for my stupidity? I see no sense in this statement, someone help me please. Ban reason is antisemitism, that's all, forget the reference of my former ban if you want.

In england, using the word jew can be used in two ways

Calling someone a jew because of the religion.
Calling someone a jew because they "Jewed it or jew'd you" basically they fucked you over in some way.

if someone says fucking jews it doesnt mean he wants to throw them in gass camera or something,  if someone says fucking japanese nobody gets offended that much, so it must be some sort of problem with you and jews.

edit. and this clearly shows that you do have sort of problem with getting dark humour as well

Using the word jew in that context indeed is highly tolerated in some countries/slangs. And i don't think punishing Blackbow will change his way of saying things.

However, YOU (Blackbow) have to respect the fact that in some other countries with a different history, ppl are not that liberal when it comes to using words, that debase ppl.

Of course, the word "jew" on it's own can't be associated with racism / antisemitism. It's the combination of "fucking" and "yews" that worries me. Cus that directly points to a somewhat antisemitic way of thinking.


Let me take Germany as an example. You all know what happened here. I grew up in a society that is quite tolerant, yet still racist at some point (like EVERY society is). The thing in Germany is tho, that you're taught that everything concerning racism is a 100 % bad - even jokes - cus YOU DO NOT MAKE JOKES ABOUT THE POOR VICTIMS OF THAT DEVIL - and that you have to be ashamed of what "YOUR" country did. And even though i know it wasn't me slaughtering those poor people back then, i can't help myself, but my education makes me think that exact way. That's why 90% of the German would react like Prinz_Karl, if they'd read "fucking yews".

I'm not saying that you meant it as an offense vs the whole yewish community - what i'm saying is, that some ppl might (mis)understand you! 

Considering that, and the recent growth of our community, we should all be more careful about those kind of things. I have to be honest, even i don't like seeing those kind of insults. It seems to me, that you place "fucking yews" when you're really pissed - at the same time, i know you're far from stupid and you know, that this is a provocative term.

I wan't you to think of this, when you're about to "ENTER" next time, when your Txt-line is raging again.

New players might get a false impression. Of you, the game, the admins and everyone on the server.


So pull yourself together and limit the use of that kind of insults to ts, where you're surrounded by ppl who understand your kind of humor. Don't throw it into public's face.

And I get banned for being named "Jew_lover" ..., well as you said Finuad people see it from a different perspective when it comes to things like racism/antisemitism. That's also why I found it very offensive and blackbow didn't, however it was very stupid from him and he at least could have given an apology instead of finding an awkward lingual explanation, "fucking jew" is offensive in EVERY language.

Anyway thanks for handling the situation Finuad, I hope blackbow really considers this warning.
