Yeah there are idiotic maps such as Pueblo Village, it is like telling cavalry to alt tab and watch videos in youtube until the scene is over.

I tried to make maps by myself, all became cav heaven maps tho :D

What other maps besides Pueblo Village is bad then? Map list is finally working again thanks to Fipsie, so writting down the name and something constructive about why it's bad and if it's fixable should be easy enough.

The proper word here would be: Elaborate.

I think there is very spread opinions what makes a good battle map but its the opinion of the editor/map-guy that matters :)

Frankly, I think it would be waste of time to argue maps with the guy who think the current maps is awesome battle maps.

Please don't take the map variety in cRPG for granted, gents. If you've played the Mercenaries mod, you'd know what I'm talking about. That mod's map list made me want to kill myself over and over again.

Pueblo Village is a fun change of pace, and I like maps that give players something out of the ordinary every now and then. It does exclude cavalry, and I can't think of any way to fix that without remaking it from scratch.

The scene editing subforum would be a good place to move this thread to. The scene editors in control of map rotations read all the stuff that gets posted there.

Arena + more ATS maps, even if experimental, is still worth a shot. Arena is small, but it can easily support up to 80 players easily. I find some of the smallish maps more enjoyable a lot of the time.

ATS Street Revolt used to be in rotation, and was a lot of fun. It's a cramped barricaded street with an alternate route through a sewer on the side. Tight and cramped but the main path snakes through the area and is wide enough for cavalry to navigate it (even if they don't have a lot of room to roam).

Yes adding small maps is a nice idea.
Can be fun :)
