chadz, add C-rpg to the steam workshop for warband.

5:12 PM <San_> cmp, are there any technical challenges to getting crpg on the Steam Workshop page?
5:12 PM <San_> thinking of the false positive issues in the past (not sure how it is now)
5:16 PM <•cmp> it doesn't support WSE
5:17 PM <San_> Okay. Thanks cmp for the quick response
Going to have to get around this issue.

this might be against some sort of eula/disclaimer thing or something for the workshop, but cant we just make a page for it on the workshop, then simply put all the info in, and tell people to go to our website to get the mod, rather then the subscribe thing? or they could subscribe, but it simply doesnt do anything. idk how the worshop all works when your on the developer end, but wouldnt this be the easiest fix?

write some extremely heart felt stuff about the game and your experience and then try to suck someone off on like PCgamer, boom fresh meat

This. Or alternatively you can keep clicking that moddb link, which, so I guess, would be a little bit more comfortable for some of the people in this community.

Steam also has a rather crippling maximum upload size for anything in the mod-workshop, something like... 100mb or something... A reason why places like The Nexus are more popular.

Oh wow....

FREE WEEKEND FOR WARBAND. PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR THE CHATTEL
-
You can still add cRPG to the Workshop, but only as a description saying that the file should be downloaded on Nexus or moddb, together with a link to either.
Many modders do that if their mod is too big for the Workshop.

Yes pls do this before Warband is for free. I dream of a full siege server this sunday.

Just cause its free doesnt mean "the potential cattle" are gonna straight up mod the shit out of it. Somehow im getting the feeling that this wont affect us as much(atleast for some time). Also to play Crpg and really see what its about you need more than a weekend. "Yay, I played this Crpg mod a lot during the warband free weekend and all I got was slaughtered a lot by the veterans cause I was a peasant the entire time, best game ever, so gonna play this forever". The first gen peasantstage is generally a mountain that a majority of potential players never want to pass so they drop the mod aside.

But but i was first q,q
Hey, i just saw that midweek madnes on steam about M&B:W again and there was that steam workshop showing up, and as seen, Mount & Blade Warband has its on steam workshop now!
Thats really great for soo much mods out there - maybe making moddb quite low. But also can we somehow insert cRPG into it?

I guess you cant really just upload the cRPG launcher - you can actually / or someone can upload his cRPG version all the time when its getting updated - which is bad for banners, so that is invalid again.
So is the launcher enough in the steam workshop?

I´m actually using WSE for Steam - same as quite some other guys - Lecram / Darkblade.

Others seem to be adding manual installation instructions. I'm sure the same can be done for cRPG.
