Hi, I just reinstalled CRPG and wanted to play, but first i got an RGL Error: Error on creating shaders Out of video memory. After a quick forum search I found someone with the same problem, who has quickly told to tick load textures on demand. That also worked for me. But now I get bad fps and stutter, which makes the game totally not fun. Floris mod pack is also getting bad fps, so it is no cRPG problem.
So long story short: Is there any way I can play cRPG without "load textures on demand"? Otherwise I can uninstall right again :/

Check if your pc uses the right VGA and no the integrated vga of CPU.

I'm using my grapics card and not onboard graphics if thats what you mean.

What GPU do you have?
Set your graphics settings lower, especially corpses and ragdolls. Might help with the low framerate.

OS Win7 64bit
CPU i5-2500K
GPU N560 GTX-Ti
I can play Floris Expanded (with shiny extra graphics) with a battle size of 150 very smoothly, well atleast until I tick "load textures on demand"....then i get low fps. I should also mention that there is a bug with my graphics card, that forces me to use old drivers (304.xx something, so really old). I know it sounds ridiculous but just don't try to fix the driver part.....I have for a long time, and there seems to be no solution.
edit: switched to pixelated shaders, now i get a smooth 120 fps even with "load textures on demand", thanks for the help and this thread may be closed/deleted/recycled :D

Try setting your shader settings down as much as possible (To none or low or whatever the lowest is)
Then restart leaving the Load Textures on Demand unticked. See if that does the trick.
