Title: Game crash on server entrance

Crpg crashes whenever I enter a server. I just redownloaded the latest version and the problem remains.

Can anyone help me out? I've tried multiple servers and all crash =(((((

as a temporary fix, try opening warband in native module, and join crpg servers from that.

you could also try deleting profiles.dat (or rename it), then it should create a new one. this could fix it.

you know my friend tryed this, and it just let him play for like 10min then he got kicked.
would like to find a way  to fix this so we can play as a team again

Try to reinstall the last version of Warband, then install crpg.

@Ozin: Your fix works, but the face textures are messed up.

@chadz: Where can I find profiles.dat?

I would like to play Crpg again at some point, so i can grind my masterwork german poleaxe back, now that I've lost it to another bug.

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mount&Blade Warband

Note that the AppData folder is hidden by default.

I had to do this earlier today actually, and it worked for me. Have played several games on several servers and I haven't crashed yet. Good luck.

I have had a similar problem, keep getting "connection with server was lost" when I try to join a server. This happens when I have been off a while and try to start up the game again.
I found if I just wait a minute or so and try it again it will connect. Got a feeling it is the lag, or dropped packets that cause this to happen, since it is always on NA servers. I haven't been on EU in a while.

So basically now I just have to recreate my chars' faces? Annoying, but thanks for the help guys.

How I fixed this problem was to either:

1. Force singlethreading in advanced options. (It lowers your fps/performance ingame by some % depends on how fast your single core is working)

2. Start in windowed mode and then maximize the window with alt+enter. (best fix for me) (You don't need to force singlethreading for this)
