So, we raided new Shulus, it was a great fight from both sides and it ended up with us flagcapping in the end:

We attacked again to face the population in peasant outfits but:
1. The flagcapped garisson (130 men) were still alive and kicking somehow
2. The fief still had a good amount of gear left
3. They had gear from our raiding army gear, which means they got spoils from the flagcapped raid (???)
4. No it wasnt reinforced with THAT gear
5. No I dont want to do the battle again or make all mighty chadz above to, by divine right, give us the fief.
I wanna know if this is a bug, flagcapping while raiding worked on EU last strat - it killed the remaining garisson and stripped the defending fiefs of gear (except peasant gear), has some mechanics changed that we have missed or is it bugged for some reason?

As far as I know raiding takes likes 75% of the gear or so, not literally all of it.
Think I did a raid once last strat, but cannot remember whether it killed the garrison or not. I can imagine that it doesn't.
But no idea why the defenders would get parts of your gear (probably degraded but still)

Yeah when you flagcap none of the remaining lives die, benefit of attacking over raiding since whoever owner is gets those troops. Has always been case the defender still has those troops alive.

Raided Mercs several times last strat and fought peasant armies afterwards, might be we didnt flagcap them during those raids cant remember, and if so the remaining garissons lives, ok - but I am sure they got nothing of our gear from the raid at least
Squids had armours for serveral hundreds of men after a successfull raid and that some of those were ours is strange - but nvm
New raid today, no garisson so if Switch is right 75% of their current remaining gear will be lost to us

We might, or we will move on to siege one of your castles perhaps - not sure yet, will let you know - but if you wanna stop us from raiding you could send some troops o the fiefs you own. I look at the map, you have hardly any defence in any village, a valid tactic if you have armies nearby to secure them.....but where are they?
