Have seen many new players online today. DTV became unplayable with 10 lvl 1 peasants and 5 other people xD Good to see lots of beginners

I don't believe these sales cause an immediate zerg of new players, I had been playing native for one year untill I found out about c-rpg

If we want to increase our numbers here, someone from the dev team has to open a mod page at MODDB. If you check at the top 100 most downloaded mods, http://www.moddb.com/mods/top , warband has the most mods there.

Nexus mods would be another good site to host it on. When I hear the name I think of Elder Scrolls and Fallout mods, but they host a ton of stuff and there is a lot of M&B-related mods on there.

I get kicked and banned all the time there, even worse on NW. When you join a server there and accidentally pick the wrong class you immediatelly get kicked, when you come back to ask what the fuck happened they decide that you should get banned because words like 'stupid' really hurt their feelings :P

Even better, everyone of us can advertise three times until they get banned. That would be an effective amount of advertisements of about 1000 if only ~350 people do that :D

It is going to be pain for them for atleast a half a year. Man, this game is soooo not new player friendly. Nothing to really do about it either. Playerbase isnt that big. Cant have things like ranked matches or even finding another newbie on the battlefield.

As long as most of us keep in mind how bad we were as newbs, this community ain't that bad.
Lots of people simply ignore or just nudge obvious low lvl peasants till round end and there's always someone willing to spend a few rounds after death to explain stuff.

Could be worse, I guess :D

Hey no_rules, you should PM them in the cRPG website to visit the forums. That might prevent some people from trying to become a horrible archery/cav/2h with skills on every stat. God knows I've tried that once.

In my opinion the best thing to do is not being a dick to the obvious peasants. Give them a nudge or two then go on with your business. Maybe they'll understand cRPG is figuratively not full of dicks even though it is literally.

I can only imagine trying to play cRPG as a new player nowadays - must be the worst experience. The weapons are now even more hilariously fast and seemingly half of the server populations has characters with OP levels, the 34's, 35's, etc

I saw Thomek on EU_1 telling a newbie that he shouldn't create an archer character because it's the worst way to learn how to play this mod :P.
