Been a while since I played last time..... one thing I noticed when I came back, when I wear a normal mid tier armour ~40 body and some mid gloves (+~5 body), I die from 2-3 hits, when I wear a 54 body armour and gloves (that don't affect my performance at all) +12..... I die from 10-30 hits. Literally. God 'aw war dangit.
And on NA it's even worse because I have ~150 ping and everyone glances on me more (weird buff isn't it?). Footwork neglects everything, even running speed isn't affecting it a lot. Not even talking about horses....
I think this is much more a problem for new players then "skill" or experience etc.
Glances are not problem when you want to have "I spam howewer I want game" ^^

PPS: I think it's mostly thoughts for M:BG then cRPG, but I still wanted to write it here.

What's the point in estimating how many hits it takes to kill you? It doesn't provide any actual info about your survivability whatsoever.

I'm not couting hits, I'm just looking at all those people hitting me 15 times while I'm not even in plate, and thinking how frustrating that is.

Can confirm hit him 4 times in head and he didn't die until the 5th hit. Can't imaging if I was aiming for his body

It provides almost everything you need to estimate survivability. If you can survive twice more hits than someone else, you will on average survive twice as long, and inflict twice more damage to the enemy team. That depends on game mode of course. In battle things happen in bursts more than in siege for example.

today was playing as usual wearing my archon's armor. usually getting killed in 2-4 hits. got annoiyed in being raped by 1 or 2 waves of ganking. weared churburg and horned helmet. got killed in 2 hits. okay. next round, still the heavy equip. got a headshot and lost like 3\4 of hp and lost the rest of hp by 1 hit of 1hander. next round - weared archon's armor and barubute again. survived like 5 hits of side sword (21 21 3 if).
what the hell is going on?
i thought everyone already know how useless heavy armors are. yes, in some cases they may be useful for some specific classes but not at all.

So, what if I survive twice more hits in a round than I did in a previous round, with the same equipment? Don't think that means my survivability has increased.
With the damage depending so much on various factors, hits can cause any damage between 0 and over_9000, how can the amount of hits indicate something?
