What attribute would this be under str or agi, just curious.
You would begin to see builds built around the attribute it is governed by, if you decided to make a build that didn't use the skill then you would be at large disadvantage as you would be allowed less overall quality of equipment.
It'd be funny if a new attribute called charisma governed it though so that noobs could pour points into a useless attribute for less repair costs only to find they have no combat skills

INT :D

I don't support the repairman idea. However, if I did, this is the implementation I'd support.

Same. And you start with 0 charisma, so not to have an immediate +1 repair skill without using at least one attribute point.
Consequence : I doubt any good players would use that.

All the skills you need in the game are riding 6, shield 4-5 and repairman as much as you can... :D
Bad idea. The upkeep mechanics do exist for a (good) reason.

Hi, repair costs is very high. "Repairman" skill can be added for this.
If we improve this skill, repair cost get reduced.
TY for reading.
good idea

"blacksmithing"
If you don't want to have INT added than make it STR. Heavier gear people usually have and require more str, so it makes sense.

There should also be a horse whisperer skill. So you dont have too pay upkeep for your plated charger.

repairman sounds like bad Italian porn, I'd call it blacksmith and yes I disagree with the whole idea.
