Title: What are the best polearms to use with 1 wpf?

Hey!

I am a ranged player and want polearms for DTV and times where I do not feel like shooting or using onehand. Can you recommend me stuff that works well with 1 wpf? I have 15 STR on one char and 18 on the other. I got high athletics, so I might be able to backpedal against some enemies. However, I don't feel like choosing too sluggish weapons, so I don't get spammed to death. Can you help me out?

Long War axe up until Avengers of Virgin, bec de corbin afterwards.

How much PS do you have?

I'd recommend something inexpensive with fast attack speed. Quarterstaff, shortened spear, military fork, spear are all good choices. Low upkeep, fast speed, and decent damage/reach. They are also all 1 slot.

4-6 PS, depending on the char.
