Title: I need help installing Europa Barbarorum[EB] for Rome:Total War.

I downloaded everything and I got these validations saying that my install was corrupt. I really don't know what to do.

I tried getting help from the Total War threads and that didn't help

Download could be corrupt - have you tried redownloading the mod in its entirety?

I redownloaded it and started the game. After that a bug came up and said...


Generic Error:
Unable to find skeletion 'fs_slinger_new'

Are you using any submods? And I reckon you made a clean reinstall?

No, yes. Same thing happen, couldn't find the skeleton for fs_slinger_new

did you start with a clean install of rtw itself? using the correct version with all the necessary update patches? not using any of the expansions that aren't officially supported without separate downloads for compatibility? followed the official installation instructions very carefully?

i hope you get it working, eb is perhaps the finest achievement in modding i've ever experienced. luckily they're getting ever closer to an initial release for m2tw, which should be fanfuckingtastic, considering the engine is much better and unit variation makes for more visual splendor and all that good stuff.

good luck! try making a post in the appropriate thread at the Total War Center forums for further tech help, they get more traffic over there and should get you set up quickly.
