Wow, this scene is pretty fucking stupid. Clint says about his smith&wesson, reaches into pocket for gun and black guy don't even aim at him and lets Clint shoot him in the face? And later, the other guy who holds waitress, why he doesn't aim at her head but holds a gun like a dildo or sth?

If we're going to mention True Detective, we damn well better mention the king of continuous shots:
That scene is great, but slightly overrated - a frivolité. It was done to earn the achievement not to contribute to the filming. Amazing shoot regardless.
I find the conversation in the car much more enlightening, as it sets the general atmosphere of the entire series since the beginning.

Atonement - Dunkirk Beach.
Im a big fan of single shots on steadicam. This one is just over 5 minutes, in one take. Thousands of extras, a choir, animals.
That website is like a site for steadicam operators, theres some really good shots on there, check it out.

really good movie; not my fav scene of all time, but one that amazed me. one scene that lasted more than 3 minutes, and it's not made of only dialogues. the only problem might be the part where the tank shoots, it takes too much to blow up the room imo, but seriously this scene is outstanding
