Title: Battlefield: Hardline

Known as Battlefield: Life or Battlefield: The Heist or BF:CS:PD:GO:Off-duty. Looks like DOP (DayOnePreorder) game to me, whatchathinkboys? Don't forget to get premium bundle, you'll need it :wink:

Looks pretty cool though, like they're trying to take out some of all the chaotic action from BF4, which is one of the main reasons a lot have shunned away from the franchise.

Hardline seems like a mix of Counter-Strike, Payday and GTA, all the goodies from BF but in a different setting and without the total chaos. I'm positive, and I'd like to try it out.

Looks like EA are trying to rip off payday, at a glance anyway might be wrong. dont really care what dice do unless they make a true BF game that is modable.

Cops and robbers with Battlefield mechanics, not bad. Car chases look pretty sweet, hope they add some good driving mechanics and it might be a hint of GTA in a Battlefield game. They are gonna have to reduce deadliness or accuracy though, otherwise shooting people out of cars would be way too easy.

Hey I always wanted that after the really short BF3 car co-op part. That was so short but so great as well.

also just realised they are also making star wars battlefield

then was about to be like wow how much are EA whipping dice, but then googled and this "hardline" is not being made by dice, but the dead space makers "visceral games". now it makes a tad more sense.

which further seperates it from the actual battlefield series, which AFAIk was all made by dice.

Visceral Games, they ones who made Dead Space are making this. Not sure how big the involvement from Dice is, most likely just engine stuff.

I've been watching people stream this game and I'm pretty unimpressed. Definitely looks like a BF3 DLC, just new skins and maps and slightly different missions. Definitely not worth the price, let alone supporting EA and having Origin installed with it.

Anyone else playing it? Got it. Pretty damn fun if you don't give a fun about KD (KD tryhards just use M416 and M16A3 that's currently OP as fuck atm). Ziplining and Grappling Hook towards enemy bases/sniper nests and being tactical is pretty fun. Plus with tasers and all other cool gear there's plenty of trolling opportunities. Decent game to keep you entertained till GTA Vs release that'll probably be in 2 years with the way they're going plus add 1 year for fixing bugs and making it hardware friendly and not as unoptimized as a imaginary stepchild of GTA IV and an ARMA game on PC.
