Survived two of them the other day while playing 2H in medium-heavy armor and 21 strength. And I wasn't running away. Third one killed me tho' :!: Jarids have always been far better unless you want to melee with the weapon.

That picture with me on top of Henry (my Horse) is kinda sad :(

Damn I would hate to be that Elephant.  That would be like getting killed by a thousands wasps. 

Can we please buy these people some .50 cal hunting rifles.  At least they could drop the elephant in a few well placed shots instead of chucking 50 spears into them lol.

I can never get over the low ammo count on throwing lances. On the receiving end I have survived 2 throwing lances + several arrows wearing plate with no IF (but 24 strength). 8 PT with javelins or throwing spears (my personal favorite) is very effective. It's more economical and you get a few more shots to account for misses and mega plate monsters absorbing all your throws.

the extra PT point do magic things with throwing lance. please let me shoot 4 lances into your ironflesh toon with a zillion hp, let me keel you in two. (or 1 headshot)

Yes me. Need 2 of them for classic 2H heroes, 3 for a plated guy (or 4 sometimes)
Throwing lance are useless, time for devs to give them some love.
