Title: Global +1 damage for all blunt weapons

Why? Because with the introduction of rolls and the decreased chance for knockdowns, blunt weapons have indirectly taken a hit in their damage and lethality.

Onehanders are mostly using faster sideswing spam weapons like Niuweidao, stab swords and steel pick/military pick atm. Except for the Warhammer maybe, I think blunt onehanders could get 1b more. The secondary mode of the Bec seems pretty strong as it is, however. No idea about blunt twohanders though.

Goedendag was just insanely op for its price before. At least with knockdown being tweaked, it's not as strong.

And how does that change that virtually ALL the blunt weapons in the game have become less attractive with those 2 changes? I think giving them 1 point consolation damage would be an ok trade-off.

I do not understand how you envision divisions of weight and damage and speed and length explain the need for a buff without any clarification.

I believe knockdown is higher than what it was originally as long as you hit the head or legs.

There are many blunt weapons that I don't think should get +1. This includes those with 95+ speed, 33+ blunt (and most 1hs). This leaves some of the mid-range to long clubs/maces.

randomly dividing numbers isn't going to do much. Even multiplying is probably a better estimation, but still says nothing.

Well for me, blunt damage is directly affected by the weight of the weapon.

So the ratio damage/weight seam appropriate for blunt weapons.

And about the speed rating, according to the blunt weapons balance, it's directly affected by the length, not by weight nor his aerodynamic shape.

Oh really? Can you back that up with something (I'm legitametly interested)?
Still leaves blunt weapons with an overall decrease in their attractiveness due to people rolling away from what before would have been an additional hit, though.

Well for me, blunt damage is directly affected by the weight of the weapon.

But it's not for the game engine lol
Unless of course, knockdown is the word you're looking for.

Problem is, looking at 1h balance specifically, that +1 to all blunt weapons would definitely make picks too weak, and buffing both picks and maces might make short swords too weak, and buffing them might make medium length swords too weak etc.

The rolling part is true. I think the input for roll should start and end earlier, since it feels like you have to wait before you're allowed to input the roll. It should be tougher to roll if you're taken by surprise.

As for knockdown %, it's around double. 0.07 = 7%, etc. 2h/polearms should probably aim for the legs and 1h should aim for the head.
