I hate Freuds with a passion.

They probably think that has something to do with my mother.

They're using the names of the items hoping people would think it's heirloomed and pay high prices for them, but they're not doing anything wrong. People just have to be aware of all the heirloomed item names before purchasing.

they are doing everything wrong, dont justify them! even if it is not against cRPG rules it is against moral rules and lack of good taste, swindle will alwyas be swindle no matter if its 'legal' or ilegal. Btw in real life companies may pay huge charges for missleading customers in their advertises. If actual law sees this kind of action as deserving for a charge it must be placed on the 'wrong things to do' side.

I wonder if u would get tricked u still would say that the guy that tricked u did nothing wrong.

It's not their fault that an heirloom type is "Heavy" and you can buy a "Heavy Bastard Sword". They're not misleading people themselves, the game is. They're just... using this.

That's my way of saying I don't like them doing it, and that I agree it's morally wrong, but you're not going to stop them from doing this so why bother complaining? Just be more careful, we all make mistakes, granted, but just take care and you'll be fine...

well I know that devs cant rly do anything to them but when I see someone saying 'they're not doing anything wrong' it needs to get corrected. If devs cant do anything physicialy lets at least keep the perception of it being low and shameful. And +1 for such threads pointing out this poeple. Thats all we can do to them but as long as the community will keep thinking that it is low and shameful this trend wont increase, but if we start to say that its not wrong and justify such actions it will grow to unbareable number, know this from personal experience from different game.

No rules, just let it happen organically. Maybe a thread where scammers are posted so they can eventually get ostracized for being douches.

Not once did I say "they're not doing anything wrong". I merely pointed out that it couldn't be construved as being illegal in real life terms due to the fact that although they may intend on misleading, they have no control over the factors that allow them to do so.

Back on track now though, I do believe that these should be pointed out until the release of the new market "help" items being added.

Maybe the owner of this thread could point out ones that're bad deals if he has time?

Most of the Cut weapons have HEAVY heirlooms..so a new comer or someone who doesnt follow forums may easily misunderstand the idea of  heirloom upgrades..

So these guys sell this blade as heirloomed weapon cause it is like 11k gold in original but all the guys from the list and the others sell it  like 50k+..even 100k..they do no 'wrong' they try to decive people..

I just dont want anyone to lose interest on CRPG cause of some dirty minds getting hard earned gold into their purses..

Someone who buy this sword can be mistaken (he should examine the sword first true) but he can be naive too..

btw i didnt fall into their traps..so i am not raging..i just defend the rights of newcomers and decieved ones..

thank you for your concern...

Yeah, trusting anyone on the internet is pretty naive...
But that doesn't excuse the scammer, for naive people it sucks pretty hard, for people that don't fall for it it's bloody annoying to scroll through 100 useless offers when looking for a fair heirloom trade.

Even though its completely immoral, their actually not doing anything to warrant action at the moment.... its the same irl, your well within your rights to try and sell somthing for a ridiculous price as long as the person isnt missinformed about the purchase, as soon as you say somthing that isnt true, thats when action can be taken.

The simple solution to this is to help people make better informed decisions before buying things on the marketplace.... make a feature which clearly states what level heirloom the item is instead of people relying on the name of the item.

Good man. Though I must say that they shouldn't be banned for such a thing. Let's all perceive this as a very shameful thing. I'll be sure to wipe up any Acre "fraud" market posts immediately.

Lol most of the admins/devs posted frauds, while that leiknir guy that you listed is the main strategus developer. Also, the list you posted it's just 0.01% of the frauds or unreasonable offers in the market. So don't think you'll get any of us banned  :P.

That said, can't see why we should feel ashamed by selling items at unreasonable prices, it's not that we are forcing anyone to buy them.
I think the guy who bought an heavy great sword from me in exchange of 80.000 gold, or the heavy trowing axe for 35.000 should be ashamed, check the heirloom list ffs  :P

If rules of game arent only for servers but also for this part of the game i would apply following rule:

Selling a Heavy Greatsword for 50k is not like the system was intended (common sense)
=> Admins delete that sword.

A pity we can't know who bought our stuff then.
But such lists are unlikely anyway, since every guy would get tired after copy and paste 90% of the market offers every day.  :o

I dont care about the fraud, people should be aware of this, but what I find REALLY ANNOYING is the waste of space in the market place.

It is just so messed up with ridiculous trade request with makes it hard to find the right things.

still we can see at least those that either flood the market with stupid offers or try to rip off money from the noobs. from my point of view these people are 10 times bigger retards than those that are new to the game and buy them. eventhough you or anybody else would kept saying "we do nothing wrong" forever.

Never said it's right or wrong, i think it's quite stupid to morally judge offers on a videogame market, or assume someone is stupid just because he posted a stupid offer.
Based on your thinking, you are playing with a community in wich most of people are seriously retarded, and at that point i might ask why loose your time with such demented people if you are so much better?
Everyone there post stupid offers, real negotiations are for the market forum.

Agreed, hopefully with the next patch there will be a better interface and frauding will be much less op, but i honestly think it will stay flooded with fake offers until some "cap on stupid offers" is made
