Fenris have once again proven untrustworthy (I know to most of EU this is no big surprise) - took our goods and then never paid us abck or returned them as part of a trade deal.

Matey, the Pirate, has ordered that all ill-gotten booty be recovered.

But ya all should share in the bountiful plunder.

Hey, is it locked down for trading until the battle is over? Trying to unload some goods, but it won't let me even though there is plenty of S&D.

Vengt - you cant sell anything ina  fief during the 24 hours leading up to the battle, but you can buy.

Also, it looks like they may not be defending at all. :(  Got a personal message to that effect.  Since everyone will have same score, may have to save crpg gold for the next fight we do with an actual opponent because no way to differentiate in this one.  Trying to give advance notice to applicants primarily applying for the crpg gold.  If things change and they do hire - of course we will give out crpg gold. 

Maybe whoever has "Express_Train_to_Poundtown" as his alias could unapply and then reapply two hours before the battle so all applicants who applied to them will get hired?  Unless he really wants to get pounded by 50 pirates?

as you should!

payout for that battle is just dumb. I think he is sticking to it mainly because it was nice to have so many people show up for us and he did not want to cause bad feelings by retracting the money

You should just add the gold on top of the next pot, so some people will be even happier :)

Actually I will randomly choose 3 people who will get 30k each. Maybe someone who has the funniest face, someone who teamhits me the most (just an example, don't go and try :( ) or maybe actually the person with the best k/d, etc.
I obviously will have to actually play in that battle myself (safe slot hooah 8-) )
And since I am not very rich it needs to be a real battle. 50 vs 20 does not count. Neither does 50vs50 heavy armour vs peasants.

Been saving up some gold using not quite efficient gear

Yeah no worries - this was the same as the Distar castle fight - and that was a lot more crpg gold.  I play low upkeep characters, get valour a bunch, and make 100K every week or so just grinding enough strat ticks for the week.  Glad you guys came out and did awesome.  Getting disappointed so many of our big planned fights is getting so few mercs against us - I am really thinking Occitan and Gforce and all the other guys are starting to love the 8 former FCC in super friends this strat.  Makes me feel all warm and special.

And yeah, I might even start a thread to incline people to apply for the other side, with gold rewards, just so that there will be a few nice fights :D

Don't worry guys, Greys and Druzhina will be organizing exp battles soon most likely!! although it depends on whether DRZ can be bothered to wipe out all the small factions ^^
