Hey.
I'd like to ask why 100% of crime means nothing?
It's weird that if you move your army into fiew you'll lose it. But the village is still loyal.
Shouldn't exist on strategus something like rebellion? In my opinion that would help smaller factions as
it would be a bit harder to keep lots of fiews in the first month of the strategus :P

Its a bad feature overall. Its bad for people that dont have much time and is annoying in general. Dont expect too much thinking behind it.
-
I had about %3 crime earlier today as it has been dropping since I used up S&D. Hours later crime had reduced to zero but I had 3 less troops but 3 more population. Not sure if that is intentional or bug if it was known, if so please disregard.
-
Agree.. There needs to be more consequence for 100% crime.. annoying to see closed fiefs sitting with 2000+ S&D with 100% crime and 200 pop / 0 army; Meanwhile all open trade fiefs are raped to 0 s&D.

There should be AI armies spawning to takeover those fiefs like in Total War series.
Army size and equipment should be based on the type of fief. If castle 1k troops, 1m gold If city, 2k troops, 1m gold if village can't remember default AI gold & money it was 500 troops i guess though.
Once you kill the rebellion army, Crime should reset at %0 and if you fail to eat up those S&D it'll start raising back.
This is a major addition Strategus needs. It'll solve too many problems.
1)It'll hit the largest cancer of Strat, UIF since they are like 300 players in total and ruling more than half the map (Using like %30-40 of their fiefs effectively though)
2)There will be MOAR battles. It'll be fun and exciting. Imagine peasant rebellion in a village lol
3)It'll encourage existance of small factions. You may conquer lands but in order to effectively use it, you gonna need people so you'll settle small clans as your vassals. They'll play the game, be a part of something and by that they'll contribute to their protectore
The only bad side of it is, it'll probably take too long to develop that and i really have no idea if there is any strategus developer left in the team.

HarunYahya, it would lead to nothing cause of rosters. These rebel armies would be spawnraped and give their equip to the winner.
And about uif - as i see, anti-uif (whoever they are) are using the same tactics as in last Strat - make us bored as hell and try to win without any resistance from our side.
Don't You think that w/o DRZ or GO Strat would be even more boring? Other way, if ppl like to play against bots with cheats there nothing can be done. Thus it is rhetorical question.

Is anyone actually fighting the UIF?

 Now I know crime is the best defender.I entered Epeshe yesterday night, an EU village with 74% crime. Then I feel I lost about 100 troops when I leave there today morning.
-
Yeah crime's a little retarded. Just lost 150 troops on a simple trading run because I stayed in a high crime fief for a day. Got distracted by real life and lost half my army. Woops! Guess I need to spend more time in front of the computer!
-
It's ok for trading as long as you are aware of it... just means you have to be active when you want to make transactions. And vigilant.
-
The only reason I like crime is that if a clan turtles up, you can just hit their traders and force their crime to go up. Attrition warfare :D
-
Actually, the way I'd like to see it is this....
Crime goes up. Troop loss from all in the fief owner's faction goes up. No real reason to hit the traders, but if it must stay, it stays.
As each soldier leaves the army, population increases. Free troops on the defense right? Not quite. If Crime is 0, normal population exists. If crime goes up, the fief owner, and their faction pay the highest penalty, and the population increases as the deserters rise. If the population hits 'x' amount of people, there's a rebellion. AI fief against the troops that are STATIONED in the fief, with reinforcements not possible. This forces a faction to keep troops in the garrisson to defend it, as well as gear.
It makes sense. The deserters want to rule... the population is unhappy with the crime rates... the faction and owner are penalized the most for not managing the fief properly... and it opens the doors for new owners, and new factions to take gain territory.
The rebellion isn't a guaranteed 'win'... the AI still needs people to fight for it.
Just my thoughts.

No one signs up for AI rosters, people would probably end up farming them for gear, plus it's probably a bitch to code.

there is no anti uif.
People took their castles at night because they cant have full rosters to take any castle due to your retarted cold war brain-system.
You guys fucked the game fucking at least accept it.

Factions that want the fief would. ;-)
